i think its a "testosterone friendly" version of proactive. I have used proactive for 10 years and it worked for me. Then didnt need to use it for about 6 years of my life because i was acne free. When my brother had acne i recommended it to him too, but it didnt work for him as well. When he tried Clearogen it worked better for his skin making it obvious that the "DHT-blocking" capability is what sets it apart.I have PCOS and hirsutims and hormone irregularity along with facial hair caused acne flares. After the first application of this product I started itching. Shortly after I developed a rash. I do have very sensitive skin though, so I gave it to my daughter to see if she could tolerate it and she told me it was making her itch. I wanted to return it and get my money back because after all it is a whopping $80 but they do not allow returns. So overall it may be a great product for some but it definitely didn’t work for me and mine and it’s way overpriced, I wouldn’t waste the money. Laroche Posay products are way better and definitely way more affordable

I used to use proactive and it worked ok it just wasn't fast enough.. it did the job and everything but meehhh anyways i came back from work and i ordered like 5 individual orders from amazon and more from other places so impend up the package and i was first really scared i was afraid my skin would irritate but anyways i used it and i woke up with all my acne ALMOST GONE no joke i have severe acne and random break outs that almost look like bump .. my skin is not good! this doesn't cause irritation or redness i got the benzyol peroxide one and I'm obsessed with it I've used it 2 times so far (2 nights) and i absolutely love it! i put everything in order and then when i put on the lotion i put a layer all over my face then another layer of spot treating and my huge bumps are 50 percent gone LOOOVEE IT

This set did nothing for my acne. I wouldn't say it made it worse but definitely did not help. I used it until all the products were gone - zero change. I started since started using TreeActiv - go BUY it. Its amazing and has worked so well for my adult, hormonal acne.

The wash dried out my skin quickly. Toner is ok but not much different from the pharmacy ones it has that strong alcohol feel. I really enjoyed the acne lotion it help treat acne and is non-oily. However i do not believe this product is as good as showed on adds. I have been using it religiously for over a month but it did help any more than any pharmacy acne treatment products...

I love this stuff. The 3rd product (acne lotion w/ benzoyl peroxide) irritates my jawline a bit if I use as directed, so I just cut back and only use it every other day now instead…works perfectly!

LOVING these products! I’ve struggled with on and off forehead acne ever since the birth of my daughter a year ago and I’ve tried almost everything to clear it up. At one point, my nighttime skincare routine consisted of 10+ steps just to keep my acne somewhat under control. This set is SO much better! Not only is it 3 simple steps, but my acne has been nonexistent since I began using it and it doesn’t dry out my skin like some acne products will. Can’t say enough great things about this!
