The jacket is lightweight. Total weight of the jacket and bag was just 460g (16.2oz). Takes a bit of work to get it back in the bag, but that's a good thing. The smaller the bag, the less room it takes up in your pack.Size ran pretty true. XXL was snug, but usable, on me. I generally buy XXXL in a shirt.I wouldn't use this as my everyday coat. I don't think it would hold up to daily, hard use. But it's excellent, as a jacket to throw into a daypack or your car trunk, for those times when the weather suddenly goes bad, or when you expect it to warm up, and you need to stash your jacket. It's compact enough that my 15 1/2" laptop backpack will hold it, gloves, a beanie, AND a military-style rain poncho, and still have room for my computer, accessories, and assorted EDC stuff.If you want a jacket for your daypack or car trunk that's heavier than a windbreaker, this jacket is definitely worth a look.

I got the extra large size and it fits as expected. The jacket compresses into a small size and can be stuffed, with some effort, into the included bag. Even after being stuffed in the bag, it comes out wrinkle-free. The jacket is perfect for fall or to keep in the car in case it gets chilly. The jacket has two zippered outside pockets that work well. There is a large inside pocket on each side that is divided into a large and a narrow pocket. The narrow pocket isn't big enough to put your hand in, so if you have anything in it it will be hard to retrieve.It is a nice jacket for a reasonable price.

I got the medium and am 5'9" and 165 lbs and it fits me perfectly. The arm length is just right which is always a concern. It actually does pack into the included bag easily. I'm always worried that stuff like this won't fit easily in the bag it comes with. You can leave it in your car or trunk as an emergency back-up, take it on a hike, or just use it day-to-day. The zipper worked well and the two outer pockets are good. On each side of the interior, there is also a large and divided pocket which is nice if you want to drop anything extra in them. The division of the interior pockets was interesting... one side is a very large pocket and the other side is rather narrow. Anyway, overall, I think it's a great packable jacket. We'll see how it does out in the cold soon.

This review is for the Outerfit Mens Packable Puffer Jacket. I got this packable jacket to wear for my upcoming trip to Machu Pichu, Peru. The temperature is about 44-70F now. Should keep me warm. The jacket itself is well constructed. No loose threads. Size large is perfect fit for my 5’11” 175 lbs frame. My only complaint is that the zipper is on the left instead of the right side.

What is not to like about this great jacket?It is light, really light but it is warm at the same timeIt can fit in the included pouch so you can carry it around until you need to wear itThe size is perfect for me. I wear M all the time and some clothes that I have received in Amazon are a little oversized but not this one. This fits great on meThe color, although a little lighter than the the way it is shown in the picture is not bad at all. I tend to wear darker clothes all the time, but I still find this lighter shade of blue pleasant to the eye. A little lighter and it would be a deal breaker for me.Definitely worth the 5 Stars from my point of view.

This is a great puffer jacket for taking places. We live in the high desert and we’ve gotten into the time of year when the minute the sun goes down it gets cold. This jacket is great since it’s super compact and packed up so it’s easy to have in the car ready for when it’s starting to chill. The jacket itself is great because it’s lightweight but still very warm. It’s also water repellent so any drizzly type rain won’t soak in and you can avoid the wet and cold. It’s a great jacket to have for hiking or camping since it’s easy to throw in and keep handy in the car or your backpack.

Most likely I would have given this jacket a 5 but the zipper is a ladies zipper. That is, the tab is on the left instead of the tight. For a right handed person this makes it difficult to zip.

It’s thinner than it looks. It’s good to just throw on and go and when it gets colder it’ll be great for layering. This is more of a fall or spring jacket. Fit is true to size!
