I have several smaller toy grade drones.I'm pretty confident saying this is the coolest drone I have come across so far.The lights and effects are very vibrant, they make this drone really stand out.The drone has decent power, but a pretty short runtime. The batteries charge pretty quickly though.This drone has plenty of range, I haven't lost signal even once. A few times I've gotten it so far away I was sure I would lose the drone. Seriously the drone was just a dot in the sky. I have very nervously flew it back every time.From time to time I crash or lose a drone in a tree or you get a flyaway, I know that one day it will probably happen to this drone. When it happens I wouldn't think twice about getting another one this thing is really awesome,

This is a fun toy and a good introduction into how to control a drone. It has everything you need except for 3 AAA batteries for the controller. The drone batteries, one for use and one as a spare, come with enough charge to fly right out of the box. Simply install batteries in the controller, install the battery on the drone, turn on the drone and then the controller. A beep will indicate that the two are paired up. You can use a single button for takeoff and then control movement: the left control for up or down and the right control for forward, backward, left and right. The controls are a bit sensitive so younger kids might not be able to control it well, but it doesn't take a lot of practice to get better at control. Be sure to fly it in an open area, and if outdoors, when there is little or no wind.The instruction manual is reasonably clear on setup, flight and maintenance steps.
