I never thought I'd be smearing small goo on my face. But here I am....and glad to be.I'd never heard of snail mucin in skincare products. After looking it up it turns out there's research backing up snail mucin benefits to the skin.The product just smells like unscented cream. So there's nothing to gross you out. Well, the texture is a little slimy in nature. Be sure to keep your finger or applicator over the jar until you're sure it's not dripping off anymore.The great thing about this cream is that you only need a small amount to get good coverage on the face and neck. So I imagine the tub will last quite some time it's definitely very good hang for your buck.My skin breaks out easily to creams that are even moderately heavy. But this cream goes on so light I haven't had any issues and don't expect any. But I'll certainly update my review if I run into any issues.I can't speak to it's effect on fine lines or darker areas since I'll need to use it for some time before I can expect to see results. But I'll almost certainly buy more when this is gone since it's good moisture in a very light cream, exactly what I need.

This snail muscin face cream has a unique texture. It’s light, whipped, not sticky. It reminds me of a soufflé. It does not feel heavy but hydrates very well. It has that unique thing that happens when you press your hands together and then pull them apart and the product pulls in strings between your hands. I don’t know how to describe that. If you’ve ever used that famous snail muscin essence product, you probably know what I’m referring to. This face cream has no scent, at least not to my nose. This is surprisingly good! I have normal to dry, 59 year old skin and I found this equally good to use in the morning and evening. A little goes a long way. The amount of product in the jar is a very good value. Prestige moisturizers typically come in 2 ounce jars. This one is 3.5 ounces. So it is a good value. I did not experience any irritation with this cream. It’s a winner in my opinion!

Snail Mucin Repair Cream (ATOA NY): I have tried snail mucin in a serum but not in a moisturizer before. Yes, it sounds kind of gross. And this cream is a little slimy/stringy as you scoop it out of the container. But otherwise it's a regular moisturizing cream, like a thin lotion. I didn't notice any scent. It works fine as a moisturizer and has not caused any irritation. I'll probably use it as my post-serum moisturizer, before I apply a heavier moisturizer or sunblock. The inside of the box has nature images, including of a snail under the bottom flaps. Made in Florida.

This Snail mucin repair cream Looks very much like a popular brand, but upon further reading, I realized it was not. This is ATAO NY snail Mussen repair cream just so there is no mistake. In the past, I have used a snail mucin serum as I know this is a hot ingredient right now. I liked that surprisingly so I decided to try this as well. When I opened the cream. I will say it has, an odd look to it. It is whipped looking but stringy Between fingers. This cream is very thick so you actually don’t need much. It feels a bit sticky at first, and I assumed it would feel that way on my face, but once spread out, I really liked the way it absorbed into my skin and left no stickiness behind. I typically wear this cream at night, but I actually see no reason to not wear it during the day as well. I am happy with the ingredients and I like the moisture that it provides my skin. There is no smell associated with this product, as gross as the name sounds, it is quite odorless. My reason for removing a star is because I believe the packaging is too close to a well-known brand and I did feel a bit tricked that it was not the product I first assumed. I think this snail Muin repair cream is a good enough product on its own , it could have its own packaging that is unrelated to better known brands and still hold its own for a cheaper price as well.

I use snail mucin daily and it has become an essential part of my skin care routine. I have tried a variety of brands and some have worked better than others, but this is my favorite. Product is easy to apply and does not cause skin irritation. The container lasts a long time, making it a good value. The product moisturizes and tightens my skin without being sticky or tacky. Highly recommend.

Love adding this to my night time routine, a little goes a long way. If you get too much, it may feel more slimy fyi.

I use this snail cream mixed together with lotion on my legs. It adds extra punch of moisture. It does not feel sticky . It doesn't have a smell.

The cream has a tiny, almost undetectable scent. Its texture is like a gel. It is absorbed by the skin quickly, and its moisturizing properties are suitable for normal to oily skin. I can use a serum first and then the cream to make it work for dry skin. Without the serum, the moisture will last, but not for long. I like the cream. As mentioned before, it is like a gel and not a cream.
