Better than Edge Explore 1
Much more intuitive going through the different functions than my old Edge Explore1. I broke the screen on the old Edge Explore.

Good for the price. Needs some TLC though.
Good for the price, especially for less serious bicyclists--however, first impressions is the user interface especially is really slow to navigate! Is that what it takes to make a bike gps not die immediately especially from the sun? Also, STILL no in-app support for uploading routes (.gpx in particular)!!! you need to go to their website (phone or PC) to upload routes. like wtf???? are your most popular products NOT route-related? your gps', watches, and bike gps'??? and to access your routes is in kind of an unintuitive location, especially, again, given how much of Garmin is routing related

It may be refurbished, but the glitch remains.
Well, my wife said, why would I buy a refurbished product, as from her experience, it wouldn’t work. Unfortunately, she was right. I contacted Garmin directly, as the screen kept freezing when trying to sync with a sensor. As instructed by the CS rep, it still would not unlock, even after shutting it down and turning back on. At the recommendation of the Garmin rep, i returned it. Again, unfortunately, I have to wait sometime, before a can get a refund. Given that there is no difference in price and they give free delivery and has an excellent return policy, I’m going to buy directly from Garmin.

Going to love your garman
It is a great bike computer pretty much a great hub for all you bike data toys. Cadence, speed, distance map directions and much more

Collision detection “feature” makes it unusable
Unit detects collisions, which is a nice idea, but it activates whenever I come to a stop, unless I brake VERY gently. When active, it beeps and takes over the screen with an alert that is almost impossible to dismiss, without stopping by the side of the road for a few minutes to twiddle with it, and maybe not then. Impossible to deactivate feature once activated (longer story on request). Oh, and it texts my emergency contacts whenever I come to a stop.

Don't Waste Your Money On This
I've ridden 1,200 miles with my Garmin Edge Explore2 and have found it profoundly unuseful. What a disappointment.
