Is the sole puncture resistance if I step on a nail? I weight 210 lbs.

Yes it has a steel plate in the soul to protect you from nails! I am a route driver in the food service industry. I cart about 5,000 cases of food a week off our trailers by a ramp. It is needless to say that I put these boots through a a lot each day of work. I get about 9 months of use out of them so a normal use of them should last a couple of years. I also ride my motorcycle to work which is 30 miles a day round trip. These boots are awesome!!!! I have been using these boots for 3 years and I do not plan to change!

How heavy are these boots?

They feel heavy to pick up but when you wear them they don't feel it. I wear them every day for 9 hours and they are the best work boots I've ever had. Also I've been in water and my feet have stayed dry and when it was snowing and cold my feet kept warm. They are great boots!

How are these for working in hot asphalt?

They work great for working on hot Asheville. I’ve never had a problem with them being an electrician and working on pole. Lights in parking lots Never an issue. Good boots.
