I decided to buy these books as someone recommended them. I've read the first book so far and was instantly enthralled by the story and where it would lead.I loved the introduction at the start of the book about Darren Shan too.As these are teen books they're easy reading and I found you can't put them down.To new readers of Darren Shan I would say these books will take you on an amazing adventure.

I didn't think I was going to receive a still plastic wrapped box set, so that was a nice surprise! My brother had these books in the 3 in 1 style but when he moved out he took them with him and I the other day I wanted to re-read them, so I decided to buy this box set.I love the design on the covers as they make a tarantula and are different colours.I can't wait to read this books again as I remember them being well written, interesting characters and fascinating plots.

My Grandson aged 9 adores these books. He had read the first one at School and so this Christmas I decided to grab the whole set for what was a relatively good price. He is totally hooked and his reading prowess has come on really well because of them. A great purchase in what is often a veritable sea of tat at Christmas time..

Fab books, my son loves reading them. Says they have good storylines and they make him want to read, which is a bonus!

I did enjoy this series but I do feel like it could've been wrapped up a couple of books earlier. The ending was surprising, but on part of it was a little disappointing!They are quite short books which is nice, I'm older than the target audience and I still really enjoyed this series.
