Compact, portable device
I'm new to metal detecting. I wanted a compact device that I can carry on my bike or keep in my car boot for when the urge to have some fun on the beach. This machine fits the bill 100%. Simple to use, found metal objects (no gold yet🤔😉) very easily on my first use. Simple controls. Happy beginner.

Go for something more expensive
Bought as new, and it arrived seemingly used. It has a foreign object stuck under the screen - myself and my partner assumed it was some sort of logo, until their support confirmed it wasn’t supposed to be there. In terms of usage, it screeches at anything and doesn’t appear to be very accurate as the categories change within millimetres. I highly doubt I’ve got iron, a coin and a ring in the same hole.As an aside, it does not come with batteries - and for something that retails for £199, that isn’t good enough for me. It feels flimsy, is very light and very plasticky. It is more of a toy than a serious bit of kit. Doesn’t appear to be value for money.

5* Brilliant
New or old to metal detecting this detector is perfect. Loads of settings to discriminate the trash and packs into a rucksack so you can take with you on your travels.

Good, sort of, but really not great.
It works, don't get me wrong, but its hard to use and gives many false positives when in fact its rusty iron. I know this is something all detectors struggle with, but in this case its very hard to know if to dig or not. The depth is not amazing either, but it will find metal for you no problem. So if you want it for the beaches or finding something missing in the garden, this is a really good machine! Otherwise you might be better of saving a bit more cash and investing in something better. Minelab do make some really great machines but this one, sadly, is not it.

Its great bame in metal detectors got it for my girlfeind found loads

It was a little too cheap for my liking for just a little bit more money you could buy a simplex ultra lots more for your money and better build quality this just wouldn't last long at all not very good for minelab and the app doesn't work with android 😑
