Blanket is a little thin but so soft, i haven't open up the blanket to see how big it is due to it being a gift but it seems as it is a size of a fleece blanket which I have many and it works well for my soon to be 8 year old daughter. Pillow I was afraid it was going to be small but it turned out to be a decent size bigger than my hand which is a medium size. So yes its definitely worth the buy! Highly recommend 👌
