Kai doesn’t disappoint.
The best scissors I own! As a sewist for years I had many different types but I love Kai. Smooth cutting, sharp and easy to go around curves . Never sticks and cuts right to the end point. I have all the sizes and they all fit my hand well. Will never buy anything else. Affordable, fast delivery,

Adios Fiskars. I've found a new brand.
For many years I've been using the 9" dressmaker shears made by Fiskars. I don't sew, but I use them around the house for cutting paper, string, etc. Fiskars makes great scissors. But on my last order, the Fiskars I received were made in China instead of Finland. Is the quality of the Fiskars made in China just as good as the ones made in Finland? Maybe or maybe not, I don't know. In any case, I felt deceived because the photo at Amazon showed "Finland", and that's what I thought I was buying. I sent them back. Weight & Cutting Quality: After looking at other brands and reading lots of reviews, I decided to buy the Kai 5250. I'm really glad I did. Immediately upon picking them up you can feel that they weigh more than the 9" Fiskars (the Kai 5250 weighs 168 grams, and the Fiskar 9" dressmaker shears weigh 116 grams). But more importantly, how do they cut? In my opinion, the Kai 5250 cuts as well or better than the Fiskars. Comfort: I'm male, and I always wear a large or extra-large glove. The Fiskars have the advantage of a slightly more contoured and comfortable area where I insert my thumb. However, the Kai scissors have a larger finger hole, which I find more comfortable. Also, the handle of the Kai scissors are made of a softer material, whereas the orange-colored handles of the Fiskars are made of hard plastic. It's close. But overall, I prefer the feel of the Kai 5250. However, if you have smaller hands you might prefer the contour and lighter weight of the Fiskars. Longevity: I haven't had them long enough to comment. The Kai scissors can be tightened if they begin to feel loose. I don't know at this point how long they'll hold their sharpness. Nor do I know how easily they can be sharpened. Price-wise, they cost a few dollars more than the Fiskars. Country of manufacture: Many Kai scissors are now made in a new factory in Vietnam. However, the ones I received were made in Japan. Final thoughts: I like the Kai 5250 scissors so much that I immediately ordered several more.

Perfect
Love these scissors so much. I am using them strictly for fabric, mostly cotton, and they are awesome. I won’t buy any other brand.

Worth the Price
I don't ordinarily pay this much for a pair of scissors, but these are worth it. I dropped the 15-year-old pair of 5250 scissors and one of the plastic handles broke. My wife super glued it back together, and we're still using them today. However, I know that the repair won't last forever, and we have the new pair in reserve along with the old pair. The old pair has remained tight and the solid body/blades handle most cutting with a breeze. There's no bending of the material to be cut, because there is no gap between the blades, even with extremely thin material. Like I said, I don't normally pay this much for a set of scissors, but these Are worth it. I'd buy them again!

My favorite sewing scissors!
I've been a fan of Fiskars for decades and a friend of mine showed me her Kai scissors and I got a pair to try out. I've really put them through their paces and they are holding up so well that I've purchased several more pair to keep in different locations. I haven't found any problems with them yet!

good except....
the scissors are of good quality... however, they are not as sharp on the end as my others are. Not sure if it is a defect or that is the way they are meant to be. Would like to exchange them but there is no option for exchanges in the replacement/refund area.

Extremely sharp
Have a pair already and wanted a spare pair for cutting really thick cloth and these don't disappoint. They are extremely sharp and at the right price even better. I paid around £24 so when I seen they had gone up in price I was glad I ordered them when I did

Skräddarsax dålig!
Dålig , höll bara ett kort tag och tydligen är det ingen garanti på den trots att det är en dyr sax!!
