iPool D Set (iPool I with Deluxe Filter Pump and Heater Combination)

I have alot to say about the ipool...most of it is great.There was a small problem with shipping. The big box that contained the pool had a hole on the end that was open. All I could think was that it had missing parts or assembly screws etc...I tried to be positive and hope that it was all there with no missing items.Also some of the screws, nuts, bolts etc....fell out of the hole. I was wondering why every single thing was not packaged and sealed....only talking about small nuts and bolts. Everything else was fine.The set up was not as quick and not very easy.My husband and I are on the higher end of smarts and with us both working together it took us atleast 3 hours to set it up but then you have to fill it up with water and that takes many more hours. The hard part to the assembly was that if you don't assemble the poles orientation around the top of the pool on the setup correctly (meaning little connector buttons on outside or inside of pool area) you can't set the harness poles or base poles up correctly. This will take a very careful examination to figure out.You also need to make sure you treat the water with the correct chemicals.You can't just fill it up with water and expect it to be fresh and clean forever.It doesn't work that easy but once you get use to adding a few chemicals it just becomes habit and no big deal.Now that it is all set up and running I think it is the best swimming exercise pool for your money. I use this pool everyday and it is very durable and works like a charm for me. I also feel like I am getting an excellent workout.I try to swim atleast one hour a day. I don't just use the harness all the time either. Sometimes I swim without it but it is definitely a plus to have.We bought the heater upgrade and it is well worth the money too. Fall is coming and I am sure when it is cold outside it will be nice to swim in the pool with temp set to warm. We can use this year round. It is not a seasonal thing. Another idea is that we bought rubber matting to go under the pool so it would keep the bottom of the pool nice and soft and also free from debris on the ground and to help extend the life of the bottom of the pool.We love our ipool and we would totally recommend this to anybody who is looking for great swimming exercise pool and don't want to pay over $20,000 like alot of the expensive exercise pools sell for and for under $2,000 you can enjoy the same luxury of one of those expensive ones. If you want jets that massage your muscles and a place to sit and relax just invest in a hot tub. This is an exercise pool, not a hot tub.

The only reason I have given this one star is because there is nothing less!! I didn't realize the heater would require special wiring (with a professional contractor) and attempted to cancel the order to no avail. The pool was delivered two weeks later and rather than return it as I truly wish I had, I kept it and hired the contractor ($600) to come in and do the work. I also purchased a garage heater ($300) and special floor as suggested by another reviewer ($300). I finally got the pool assembled, electrical work done, pool filled, etc (now all too late to return the pool if I wanted to and you cant return after it is assembled anyway conveniently) and the heater will not work (runs but does not heat the pool at all). All this work and time and money and I can't even use it and I have no more money to put into this project. So it has to either sit until I have more money to try and get it to a usable state or take it down and throw it in the nearest dumpster and call it a very expensive mistake. And in spite of other reviews on different websites that comment on the wonderful customer service you receive from fitmax, don't belive it. All they had to say was the malfunctioning heater must be a problem with the wiring in my house. Mind you, everything else that was hooked up by the "professional electrician" works (garage heater, pool filter/pump, etc). Terrible product (pump is also terrible and should be upgraded asap and hoses already leak and need replacing after being assembled for three weeks), terrible customer service by fitmax. I have $3000 in to this project....right down the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my iPool for about 3-4 years. We replaced everything but the pool in the first year. The pump was too big for the filter and while under warranty we received 4 pumps until the filter burned the pump out. We paid a licensed Electrician to hook up the pump. I love my pool. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUT THE POOL. My pool is located inside my home so nothing contributed to these problems except the awful pump and filter combination. iPool Deluxe Above Ground Exercise Swimming Pool with Filter / Pump and Heater Upgrade

I love this pool but 16 months after purchase & gentle use by only me & Hubby--both 65++--the seams are coming apart & seam plastic doesn't work. I'm ordering a replacement liner from I pool. This time we will put on seam plastic before we fill it the 1st time!
