You need to read and practice Yoga nidra in daily life. You can say sleeping yoga, 15 minutes of Yoga nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep. Concept of this book is to relax our subconscious mind and this will give you deep and healthy sleep. If you experiment - in general when we sleep we are getting thousand of thoughts and this consumes 90% of our energy, So Yoga Nidra will help us to stop thought and relax our mind, so we will get good sleep, If your work is not physical , like you are student,engineer, writer, doctor --etc and then this book is for you. Enjoy relax sleep.

It work
I have been doing it for about one week. When waking up at night I will start doing the 20 minuets practice and then go to sleep again. When waking up I am fresh and ready for a new day ;0)

While I enjoy yoga nidra and practice meditating this way
While I enjoy yoga nidra and practice meditating this way, I am a third of the way through this book and finding it very annoying. The author is failing to provide any scientific facts to back his "case studies". Each one is presented as "I showed up, people were like this, I did this, and they changed". This doesn't take into consideration a magnitude of outside factors that also contributed to the individual's success. I guess I was hoping to find a sound background on the science and success behind yoga nidra. I instead found more of a self help book that like most self help books, could have done without the repeated "this is true, do this and this is how you will live well" and been conducted in far less pages.

This book offers scripts that you can record and listen to easily have that experience. Consider it a self-hypnosis tool that will definitely add to the quality of your life.

Ich habe dieses Buch gekauft, um ansprechende Anregungen für meine Yoga-Nidra Stunden zu bekommen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Erklärungen sind gut und die Beispiele sind einfach ins Deutsche zu übertragen. Klasse.

Fabulous book
Love this book. I kept losing my paper copies (or having them stolen by various people) so bought the Kindle version. Really convenient and the content is amazing. Yoga classes are not the same without a good yoga nidra at the end.
