I ordered this product combo because I read about the sturdiness of the bottle. It’s made very well. The taste of the water is better due to the charcoal stick. I refill it nightly and drink from it throughout the day. I’m not a big water drinker (tea drinker but it has water too) but this helps to increase my plain water intake.

Love this water bottle. Had previously bought a glass, crystal water bottle and my son broke it within 24hrs. This one has been great. Durable and the water tastes great after recommended treatment time.

I love this water bottle! I prefer the taste of bottled water over tap water. Looking to lessen plastic use, I found this Black & Blum bottle to help with that. The charcoal filter makes terrific tasting water.

This water bottle is great! It makes tap water taste a lot better and the design is visually appealing as well. Definitely a conversation starter! Just make sure if you get a charcoal water bottle to replace the charcoal piece every 6 months.

I was skeptical upon purchasing this, but loved the idea itself so went ahead and bought it. It gets me a lot of curious questions from friends as they ask what’s inside! It does seem to alter the taste of water for the better and I feel better in myself knowing I was actively doing something to make the water easier to drink. Always find myself misplacing glasses that end up scattered around the house, so a water bottle was the ideal solution.My only question was to wonder if the activated charcoal might be diminishing my body’s ability to fully absorb any medications I’m taking (for pain). Obviously I’m not a doctor and not fully clued up on those things, but perhaps something to consider if you are on necessary medications or taking supplements - as I know charcoal works to trap toxins and chemicals in the gut. That’s my only concern about the product, and I think if the response is that it doesn’t trap toxins/chemicals (which medications are often made with) then I would question the effectiveness of the product too. Unless it works to filter through the water only, and the charcoal doesn’t actually enter the body. I’m not sure.Unfortunately I lost the lid to this so I haven’t used it in a while, and find myself losing glasses all around the house again! I hope to find one online somewhere to replace it, as overall this is an ideal water bottle and in a great size.

I purchased this to replace my Black & Blum glass water bottle which unfortunately got dropped and broke not long after purchase. Unfortunately this one does have a very slight plastic taste but that is my only complaint. Love everything else about this bottle... No chlorine taste, very secure even in rucksack, ideal size, good design and look, environmentally sound 🌏👌.Update... changed my review to reflect that I have had to buy a new bottle twice in 2 years as the bottles unfortunately break when dropped, the collar area where the metal bracket fits to the bottle seems to very vulnerable. :(Update 2 ... the bottle I purchased to replace the above split along the bottom Amazon sent me a replacement and the same happened on the day I recieved it so unfortunately I will not be buying again. Sad because I love the design and function of this bottle.

Found inserting/removing the charcoal stick a bit fiddly. Apart from that, no criticisms. Keep it in the fridge and transfer contents to my insulated sports bottle, no plastic, easy.

I'm very disappointed that just after a year and after having boiled the charcoal for the first time the bottom of the bottle snapped.

Ich habe sehr lange im Netz recherchiert um die für mich richtige Flasche zu finden. Ein Bekannter nutzt genau diese schon seit Jahren und schlussendlich hab ich mich für Black and Blum entschieden. Geschmacklich toll, Materialien und Verarbeitung toll. Hält dicht, angenehm aus ihr zu trinken. Einziges Manko ( ich hätte den Verkäufer gern kontaktiert hierzu, fand aber keine Schaltfläche), ist das mein Stück Kohlefilter nicht in die Ausbuchtung passt und das trotz der Anleitung das man die Flasche zusammen drücken soll, das ist sehr schade denn es ist ein tolles Gimik bei der Flasche. Wollte jetzt gern noch eine zweite kaufen für meinen Sohn, ein Entgegenkommen mit einem kleinen Nachlass wäre prima, quasi Win Win und dann wäre auch alles vollkommen perfekt.
