This book addresses that. This has been recommended by few industry leaders as well. Sad to see comments on spelling and grammar. I did not find any spelling mistake except at one place. Disappointing Book that has been printed without proofreading .. has numerous spelling mistakes
I gifted "The Consulting Way" to my son on his recent promotion at KPMG, hoping it would be a valuable read. But honestly, I was grossly disappointed. For a book priced at ₹2,990, it’s full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Sandeep Chatterjee and Team Zebralearn — spending big on marketing on platforms like Facebook et al is fine, but basic proofreading and editorial checks should’ve come first. It really takes away the credibility and sadly dilutes the experience. Hope you guys take this seriously before the next reprint.

Visuals without any substance !
Not up to mark except graphics there is nothing substantial. The book is a visually very good and compilation of articles from blogs, management books, articles that are rewritten using generative AI. Many sections are wasted to hype the AI rather than substantial content. Author and publishers have written this book as an AI project. See the poor finishing.

This is a good book if you're looking for a broad overview with a lot of visual information covering common consulting methods, problems, solutions, and concepts in general you'll want to know as a consultant. This book provides more of a broad overview than it does delving deeply into concepts, which is aided by the visual way the information is laid out in the book. With that said, it does give more than a surface-level insight into all the topics, but it still is more of a general overview, as opposed to an in-depth study on any one specific topic. There are a lot of topics covered, as a trade-off to that: since none of the topics take up more than 10 to 12 of the 476 total pages, so it's a lot of concepts and methods that are shown and covered, covering a range of topics including frameworks, analytics, pricing, contracts, setting up a business, and even things like ERP and cloud-based vs on-premise ERP. This book starts with "what is consulting?" and explains that in understandable and graphics-rich pages, and does a good job of introducing more and more complex (but critical) concepts and delving into them deeply enough to give you a good understanding without bogging you down with details that do matter but aren't critical to understanding the concepts enough to start putting them into practice, and learning more if you need a deeper understanding. Overall I'd say this is a very good book for anyone who's serious about becoming a consultant and wants a book that can help them through all the stages of learning, with a lot of colorful diagrams, printed well in a sturdy hardbound book. As for downsides... I gave this book a thorough read and I haven't read every page yet, but I do feel confident in saying there aren't very many spelling/grammar issues. However, there is one I noticed very early on in the book, in fact in the first part of the first diagram, where a word should have been written in a different tense. I haven't actually seen any other issues so far, but even that was still easy to understand despite the minor grammar issue. I'm not going to take a star off the rating for a very minor grammar issue, though, and I wouldn't consider it a significant issue since I've only noticed that one issue in dozens of pages. * I only review things that I personally use myself and continue to use regularly. * I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. * I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. * I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, and everything in between. * If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. * And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
