Ce livre d’aquarelle est magnifique ! Cette artiste est absolument incroyable. Elle a un talent fou. Et même si le fait qu’il soit en anglais ne me facilite pas la compréhension, je suis absolument heureuse de l’avoir acheté. Les conseils sont excellents et bien expliqués, les couleurs et ses mélanges détaillés. Un livre à posséder absolument, même si je sais que jamais je n’atteindrai le 10° de son niveau.

Great reference book. Heard about Anna Buciarelli from subscribing to her Patreon page. This book does not disappoint.

J’adore ce livre. Les illustrations sont magnifiques et les explications complètes et pertinentes. Je l’utilise en complément du Patreon, où des cours sont disponibles en ligne. Il m’a permis de mettre de l’ordre dans les vidéos et d’avoir les informations écrites pour pouvoir progresser plus rapidement. Je le recommande fortement. Le livre et les videos ensemble m’ont permis de réaliser les aquarelles.

I am so glad I chose this book. It is absolutely INCREDIBLE. There are over 250 pages crammed with beautiful illustrations and the most fantastic watercolour tips and secrets. It is perfect for me as it starts off with the technical side of colour pigments—something I have become more interested on as I progress along my watercolour path. I was put off watercolour 25 years ago by the dullest, most useless watercolour teacher at a local class, who taught us absolutely nothing about the subject. That resulted in me not understanding how watercolour behaves and lots of frustration. This year, I have focused on learning all about this beautiful medium from great people on YouTube. That is how I discovered this incredible artist. If you want to learn more about the intricacies of watercolour, how the paint behaves, how to layer and glaze and much, much more, this book is probably the best you will find. There are many watercolour books out there and to be honest, they are quite dull and don’t offer anything like this one. They certainly don’t explain how to get these results. She is an incredible artist and I love her YouTube videos. She has put her heart and soul into this amazing book and if you want to push yourself and improve your art, I highly recommend it.
