ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 26 Running Shoe

I purchased these for my mom for Christmas and she wears them all the time now. I own a pair of the Asics Gel Nimbus tennis shoes as well, and they are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. The sole insert in these shoes makes it feel like you are walking on a cloud. My mother has very flat feet, and these provide the needed support to her arch that she needs. The color also goes with pretty much any outfit. I will admit they are expensive, but the stability and comfort the shoes provide make the price worth it. The fabric on top of the shoe has a little bit of stretch to it as well.

Super comfortable for standing all day. I am on my feet for at least 8 hours a day and these are the only shoes that I buy now. I’m on my third pair. The only problem that I’ve encountered is that I got a small hole in the toe box area. To prevent this I’ve put a reinforcement patch in the toe area which I ordered from Amazon. It has adhesive on one side and you can’t cut to fit where you need it and just stick it on. It stays in place and keeps my toe from rubbing through. So other than that, a great shoe for all day wear. These run true to size and the blue color is great, gray is also nice, but it is a really light gray.

My credentials are that I am what i like to call a "health runner." I run to be healthy, not necessarily to train for races. I do participate in 5-10k races throughout the year. These shoes are the best running shoes that I have used. They have great cushioning and stability. I have another pair that I wear to work. I work in a hospital; I am on my feet all day and walk an average of 3 miles after each shift and don't come home with exhausted feet. I highly recommend!

I ordered these shoes last night and they showed up about 8:20 this morning. I have an older pair of asics that I love but I got them on the sales rack because at the time I was suffering from severe heel pain whenever I ran due to an injury. Since I had previously worn Nikes and Adidas but they didn’t support enough anymore, I didn’t know what would support the best. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on shoes that might not work. As it was the sales rack I had one color option and while not bad, not my first choice either.I’m so glad I bought those asics because I went from not being able to walk for a solid day+ after and then pain for another 2-3 days to almost no pain whatsoever. I decided to upgrade and they are even better than my others. So comfy, so supportive, so cute.I will update if anything changes with the shoe.Also, for those who can’t find a size on the listing, I received an 8 which is what I had originally saved in my cart. I had a panic moment and messaged the seller and they responded within 24hrs 😊

Purchased two pair of these- I only wear ASICS and the pair I purchased over a year ago are wearing out. Unfortunately the previous style is no longer offered which is disappointing as they were great. This new style has a bigger heel and overall looks large. The size is ok as are the colors. A lot of cushioning which adds comfortably walking. Unfortunately I developed soreness on my outer side of my left foot. In trying the other pair of these same style, I did not experience that discomfort. Further looking at the shoe, I discovered the tongue material is not sewed in properly and is overlapping causing a bump inside the shoe causing the soreness. It’s too late to return so I will need to try to correct this defect. Overall it’s a good walking shoe - just wish I had discovered this earlier.

I have owned many high-end versions of Asics running shoes, while also trying Brooks and Saucony. Fow me, the Gel Nimbus have always been the best most comfortable running shoes. They are like running in slippers.

Stumbled upon a pair at the outlet last year and they quickly emerged as my favorite pair of running and everyday shoes blowing competitions like Adidas, Nike and On out of the water. Comfortable since day 1. Great support. Love them so much that I’m now buying another pair in a different color when they went on sale.

So these weren't great shoes for me, but I think they may work for other people. My biggest issue was stability. As much as I like a lot of cushion, I almost feel like this was too much cushion at the cost of stability. The toe box is wide, too, I moved around in them a lot. I think I'll stick with Saucony, but I don't think these are bad shoes. Just not the support and fit that I need.
