I collect nutcrackers for years and I have a pretty big collection, so I immediately got this one as soon as I saw this was available and it didn't disappoint! this nutcracker is very well made, sturdy and the colors are just like the picture. If you have something like this one missing from your collection, I would say that this is a keeper!

I ordered the “Mouse King” design of this decorative nutcracker, which I think is absolutely adorable and festive. I mention that this is a decorative nutcracker, since it’s not functionally a nutcracker, being much too delicate. In fact, its ears are so incredibly delicate that one arrived already broken off. Thankfully, it was easy enough for me to glue back into place without having to request a replacement. Even though this shouldn’t be used to crack nuts, the mouth does open and close as is traditional, using the lever on the mouse’s back. In general, the craftsmanship looks decent. There’s some errant hot glue and some imprecise painting, but it does look pretty nice and adorable overall. I’m most impressed with the cape, which drapes as it should and lays down without wrinkling weirdly.On another note, I’m pretty sad that this was shipped directly in the decorative brand box, which would have looked extremely pretty and giftable had a bunch of shipping labels not been slapped all over it. It’s got the cutest images of this lovely nutcracker, and it opens and closes nicely to function well as off-season storage. But, again, it loses all gift-ability because of being covered in ugly shipping labels.

This mouse King nutcracker is really nice. It looks just like the picture and comes in the same box in the picture so you can store it each year. The cape is velvety and the beard and head have hair. It's really a good addition to my nutcracker collection. Definitely happy with it.

We get a new nutcracker each year as a reminder of our ballerina being in the ballet performance. This nutcracker was made well, for a decorative piece. The colors are nice and the details look good. The mouse king with sword and cloak went along perfectly with the ballet.
