It seems silly to say that this book feels good to hold, but this one does.It does use American English (if there is such a thing) but the translation itself is slightly different and puts a different perspective on reading it.Having a chain reference makes it useful for study.The print size is good and I particularly like the thin pages, which makes it a relatively slim volume for such a large book.

A great bible! The print is a very good size to read and I also like the NLT translation it is very clear and in good English. It has a really good cover and comes in a nice box which would be perfect for a present for someone. Also it has plenty of good reference pages from the OT to the NT if you need to look up any verses. You will not be disappointed if you buy this bible definitely one for your collection.

Great bible, I use that as part of my study (originally uses nkjv) and still does, loves nkjv version so much. But nlt makes the reading much simpler.

Nice feel and look for a bible. Haven’t read it, it was for the wife but apparently it covers most subjects in life !

The NLT is a very easy to read translation from the evangelical tradition of the church. The cover is a very supple, two tone brown, leather-like cover, which can be opened very easily and able to lay flat. The text is a very readable size too. The page edges are in gold. It is well constructed, flexible and easy to read.

Nice for my children, they like it. Nice version.

It very good size

I ordered this Bible - NLT Slimline Centre Column Reference Bible – Brown/Tan Leatherlike – ISBN 978-1-4143-2708-2 - from Aphrohead Books, Southport, UK, through Amazon UK on the evening of 4th July and it arrived boxed and in perfect condition by noon today, 10th July. There is little I can usefully add to earlier reviews extolling the virtues of the NLT and the quality of the product. I am very pleased with both. There are only 2 inconsequential things I might say which contradict other reviews to a degree, namely the copy I received was printed in China (not Italy) and the cover is actually darker than the illustration on Amazon’s website and, in fact, on the box in which it came. It is more maroon/brown than brown/tan. But, as I say, these matters are of little consequence.
