Ambesi Women's Fleece Lined Opera Long Lambskin Leather Winter Gloves

I just love opera gloves, so we can start with that.These gloves, however, are the cat's friggin' meow. They're super fierce, ala Trinity in "The Matrix" - AND they're warm with their fleece lining. The fact that I can use my phone without taking off the gloves - a bit of a task because they're opera length, and in the winter require the removal of one's coat to put the gloves back on without squishing the gloves - is a super boon.I love these gloves so far.The one thing of which I can see I'll have to be mindful is of crushing the faux leather fabric. One glove looks a little crushed because I tried to put it back on without taking off my coat. The glove got smushed in my coat cuff and looks a little bit older than its mate now as a result.Great gloves. I plan on babying them and hope to have them for a super long time.

I love these! On the advice of other reviewers I sized up from a medium (7 inch palm) to a large and they fit pretty much perfectly (the thumb is a tad short in comparison to the fingers, but not enough to be restrictive). My arms aren't super skinny but I had no problem getting the gloves on all the way; they come just past my elbow when my arms are relaxed. For me they're not restrictively tight either, just comfortably snug. I would definitely recommend sizing up, especially if your arms are on the thicker side.As for the quality, I bought these gloves for a costume (Bettie Page) but I'll be wearing them this winter for sure. The lining is super soft and warm but not too thick so the gloves still look slim. The leather is smooth and buttery. The stitching seems very sturdy as well, but I guess I'll have to see how they do with wear. The gloves do have a strong "leather" smell right out of the box (they're packaged very nicely too!), but nothing chemically or unpleasant. They're really incredible for the price (I paid $38).

Great looking gloves; however, there are two things to note about them. First, you can not afford any thickness in your arms. Even though they look wide in the picture, they are not particularly wide. My arms are short and they would have extended to almost my shoulders were it not that my arms are also thick. Secondly, they are advertised as winter gloves. They may be comfortable in a mild winter but I doubt they'd measure up in a cold winter.

These gloves are just what I was looking for. Capes are big this year and these long gloves really complete my look. The leather is buttery soft and the touch fingertips work well with my phone and tablet. I did order a size up because my forearms are on the muscular side and I always have to take that into account purchasing anything that goes up to my elbows.

NOT true to size - runs quite small. Hopefully they will stretch as they are leather. Update: And now they are falling apart ! Don't waste your money !

Super super narrow and small , i have super skinny arms and fingers but it was too small

I was thoroughly disappointed by this product. The length was 3-4 inches longer than the 19 indicated. The thumb tips were horribly stitched. The product only slightly resembles the one photoed.

Super cool, but narrow...made for smaller hands and arms, but fit me great...Sexy as heck!

Nice gloves, but the fingers are too long and they fit very snug. I bought the large as per other reviews (I normally wear a medium 7.5) Good quality though. Very warm since they are fleecy fur lined. I can put up with the longer fingers. They look very nice with my poncho.

exactly what I wanted - beautiful gloves
