I've been using this off and on for the last year, and it seems to work reasonably well. Video seems a little "soft", but works OK. Feeding this out of our studio at work and onto our LAN to monitor the productions. One thing I like that our other encoders don't seem to do is that you can take the 48k HDMI audio input and convert down to 44.1k. Why do I care about this? Because the Mist server I have running seems to really want 44.1k audio, at least on the HTTP interface. My other encoders only run at 48k, and eventually the HTTP stream from the Mist server has an audio/video sync issue. Hooking this UrayTech encoder back up with the stream audio set to 44.1k fixes this issue.I wish it was easier to get the latest firmware, you need to request this from support. I wish the manual was better! I had to stumble around to try and figure out the settings and how this encoder wanted them compared to my other encoders. But now that I'm set up, it works pretty well and fairly happy with it.Also note that I have not used the WiFi connection, always using the wired connection. I'm feeding studio output through an AJA FS2 to get some handles on the video and audio levels, as well as convert from HD-SDI to HDMI.Probably going to buy a second of these, this one was my personal device. Might buy one of their rack mount versions. Makes a good backup to our AJA HELO when we are streaming from the studio to Youtube for classes in the Spring semester, and I can keep the internal stream to the Mist server running too. Might try some multi-angle Youtube stuff with this in the near future since I have a couple of encoders. Some behind the scenes angles might be neat for the viewers.

Only rating 3 stars because of the instruction manual and level of difficulty to set up. Never got to use for my event. Had to revert back to an older configuration to get the live streaming I wanted. Still going to keep working with it. Will adjust star rating when/if I get it going.

Network configuration changes (for static IP, WiFi, etc) would not save. So could not config network as needed. Tried online tech support and call came back in Chinese. Video portion works, but it may be unusable in anything other than default settings. Like other devices from Asia, the embedded side was likely rushed and not well supported.
