Great support after surgery
I got this after foot surgery as the shoe provided was not fit for purpose. This however was perfect for my needs. The sizing though is definitely a little off. I’m generally a UK 5, sometimes 6 (depending on the shoe) and it just fits the length of my foot. It is however, really well designed and keeps my foot secure. The Velcro fastenings are strong and allow adjustment around padding and dressings. It has definitely made getting about and walking much easier. The sole is also very sturdy and evens out with most of my footwear I chose to use during recovery. The shoe is designed to be worn either on the left or right foot.

Perfection!!!
3 May 17 I fell, 3 June had a foot op, after stitches out different plasters/boots I'm partial foot bearing and nearly full weight bearing. I ordered this boot the beginning of August and it was due to arrive 8 August, waited and waited no sign, so finally I sent of an email yesterday to the Company and lo and behold here came the boot this morning and Im thrilled!!! Excellent excellent customer services well done thank you so much! I've tried it on its perfect, I ordered a size 6, and the fit is just right. It's easy to put on, and the sole is a bit like a memory foam. My foot is still a bit sore due to the op/nuts, bolts and plate in my foot. This boot gives exactly the right support where needed. I can look forward now to being more mobile comfortably. Thank you for your prompt service and thank you for the boot. I can highly recommend!

Much better than what the hospital gave me ..........
I recently broke my 5th metatarsal bone in my foot. When I left hospital I wasn’t put in a cast, instead I was given this massive boot that looked as though it belonged on Star Wars. Unfortunately I’m a very small person (5 foot tall with shorter legs) so this boot thing just did not fit. Whilst I tried it on in hospital I took a few steps and immediately fell over. After getting me up, the nurse said I’d get used to it and gave me a pair of crutches for support. It was impossible as the boot dug into my leg and cut into it around the back of the knee because it was just too tall for me. In desperation I looked online and saw this shoe. Took a chance and it was unbelievably comfortable. Not as supportive obviously as the boot, but as I just had a broken lower foot bone, I didn’t really need the support of the boot, I just needed something to keep my foot straight and supported underneath. This shoe worked perfectly. Now 6 weeks later I’m all healed with no problems from not wearing the hospital assigned boot. God knows why the hospital just does one size boot for adults with no regard for shoe size or height its honestly beyond me.

Sturdy and Comfortable Medical Boot
I have a medical condition called Lymphoedema which sometimes requires compression bandaging of the foot, ankle and leg. It's impossible to use normal footwear over the bandaging and that's where this boot saves the day. There are hook and loop closures (Velcro) on all straps allowing for easy tightening or loosening to accommodate the bandages.I take a woman's size 7 shoe and find the large size is perfect for me lengthwise. The shape at the front of the boot is square not round, leaving plenty of wriggle room for injured toes.I would also advise that the straps on this medical boot are nice and wide whereas some of the cheaper versions have thinner straps that can cut into your foot. Also thinner straps are more likely to break or fray.

OK. Could do with better Velcro not as comfortable as I hoped
Arrived within 3 days of ordering, so alot sooner than the days originally quoted - which was a positive! Straight forward to use. Not as bulky as some shoes, however I expected it to have more of a "rocker" sole like medi boots, but it's not like that, more flat and hard. Velcro not as good at the ankle part. I didn't find it to be that comfortable for me.

Good overall, but comes up short in terms of length.
I don't normally write a review so quickly, but thought this would help someone else trying to decide what size to buy. I am a 5.5 and went for the medium. As you can see in the picture, it just fits in terms of the length. I had a bunion removal op so the bandage is quite thick, but still, if you are anything over a size six, I wouls suggest you go for the Large. The boot next to my foot is the one the hospital gave me, this boot is much more sturdier and better for walking outside compared to the hospital one.

Physiotherapist said to stop using
I liked this shoe - until my physio said it was bad for me. I deliberated over which to get but in the end went for a shoe with a bit of an arch as I have had trouble with very flat shoes causing plantar f. This shoe is good at accommodating post op swelling following surgery for a broken ankle (after cast removed), with its three Velcro straps it allows lots of adjustment especially if like mine your fools and ankle swell more with walking. The sole is sturdy and well padded. The logo on the inner top part of shoe when worn on left foot looks a bit odd (like you have it on the wrong foot!). That didn’t worry me much but what did was that as soon as I started my physiotherapy sessions the therapist told me to stop using it as it is too high. He felt it was causing me to limp more and that I would develop a poor walking technique if I continued using it Disappointed. Still can’t get ordinary shoe on, 3 weeks after my cast came off, so will probably have to buy another one of these now but with less height/depth os sole. Only used this for 3 separate hours so worked out expensive.

Fantastic!
So comfortable! It accommodates a heavily bandaged foot & ankle, with room to spare! Very pleased with this purchase & would definitely recommend it.

Seguro

A recommander.
