FORD needs to return to it's original mandate...
This is a book that more than adequately summarizes the history of the Ford Cortina. Remarkable considering there are only 32 pages. As noted, the Cortina was a huge success; the reason? It provided tremendous value and reliability at a bargain price. The current management at Ford, a thoroughly incompetent lot, would be well advised to review the history of company, which will teach them that Ford does not have to copy other marques. The formula for success, as proven by the Cortina, is to market a solid, reliable, economical car that packs in an abundance of features for a low price.
