Airflow72573902 230v Humidity Module (HTM) For Icon 15, 30 or 60 Fan

Does exactly what it is designed to do. I've set the humidity trigger level by trial and error to switch the fan on as the bathroom steams up when having a shower. The fan goes off when the humidity level drops to a typical figure in a UK house (roughly 70%).

Very difficult to set, it either runs all the time or only for a few seconds + I thought it was started by the light pull cord. The blurb wasn't very clear I also thought the humidistat was to boost temporarily the fans output not to start it.I feel it was a waste of money as it didn't do what I expected, it needs to be made clear on the advert.

Works spot on, fitted in bathroom to get rid of condensation does not come on unnecessarily humidity has to be high although you can alter the setting if you wish.

The problem with this and the reason for bad reviews is that the instructions are not clear on how the product works.We thought we had a faulty module until we found tips on Fastlec website.The module pullcord is switch on only..it does not click off like the old style fans so if you just keep pulling the cord the fan will just keep resetting your timer.The dials are difficult to see but they are screw shaped arrows if you look close so it is easier to set timer before you attach module. Timer sets between 2 and 45 mins so my advice is that if you are unsure how long timer is set for once fan is up and running use a stopwatch.It is recommended that humidistat is set between 70 and 90. If fan not coming on enough go lower and if fan coming on too much go higher.Once you understand these simple rules it is straight forward and I don't know why they have not put a leaflet with this info in the box.

I bought this a week ago and have been fiddling around with the settings continuously to try and make it work properly but either it doesn't turn on or else turns on and then doesn't turn off at all!!!!

I bought these with the extractors and they simply don't work! Unfortunately I bought them a while back before I managed to get them fitted and now am too late to send them back. Really disappointed
