I bought this because the reviews sounded too good to be true. I think it is, but it doesn’t matter. It serves the purpose. Please note, although it does seem to be perfectly waterproof, i have a second protector underneath because it’s on a rented mattress so there’s no way I am risking anything.All these reviews are saying, “it’s so soft!” If these aren’t fake reviews then these people have a strange perception of “so soft”. It’s not sandpaper, but it’s not soft. It feels as soft as a cheap towel. It helps keep the sheets in place. But most of all, it goes on super easy!! I don’t have an extremely deep mattress but the queen size fits my queen mattress beautifully with room to spare. Not difficult to get on and since there is slack, it doesn’t tear.Be careful to fluff dry this. I’ve been fluff drying it for 80 minutes with a quick 20 minute blast of medium heat (my dryer doesn’t have “low”). Even with that, let alone anything else, results in small holes from the back sticking to itself and then tearing when you separate it.

I used this product to protect a King Koil inflatable queen-sized mattress (80x60x20) and this protector fit very well (which speaks well of both the protector and the mattress). As it turns out, there was an accident in the night and the mattress protector did its job perfectly. It is machine washable and tumble dry, but when I pulled it out of the washer I found that it was still dripping wet. I didn't feel comfortable popping it into the dryer right then, though - since it was still dripping - so I hung it up. And, over the course of the day, it dried out very well. I've given it 5 stars for 'Easy to clean' - because I think it is very easy to clean, it just isn't too easy to dry. But that isn't the fault of the material. It is supposed to keep water from passing through it easily, and because of that the water becomes trapped in the folds of the protector when the washer is on spin-dry cycle. I would definitely buy this one again if I needed to.

Let’s all be real for a minute, we all have either pets, kids, or both and A potty accident is in evitable; there is nothing worse than having a mattress soiled, mattresses aren’t cheap and no one wants to sleep on a soiled mattress! If anyone is looking for a waterproof mattress cover, this one is excellent!If you are new to the mattress cover world, it does feel a little bit different underneath the sheet, (it’s almost like an extra layer of fabric under the sheet, nothing dramatic) but you get used to it very quickly. It is soft, and breathable, wraps around the underside of the mattress, dits tightly and stays in place and most important, it does not make noise when you move around on it. In my opinion, for the price, this is an excellent product. It is machine washable and I have put it in the dryer 3 times so far and it is doing its job. Furthermore, At under $30 for a king size, I bought another one so that I have a back up. I have a cat who is having some behavioral issues at the moment and I wanted to have a back up. I am not sure how many rounds in the dryer it will withstand and again, at $30, it doesn’t matter I will just get another one!

Update-two weeks in-quite pleases with this. Doesn’t make my sheets come off the mattress every night. It is a bit warmer in the bed, tho. So far, pup hasn’t had an accident, so still can’t advise on durability or washability, but so for so good!I have a rescue dog who pees when she sleeps, and needed something to cover my whole mattress. I have been using mattress covers for cribs, but as they’re just laid across the bed, they bunches up when we slept. I’m trying this one now, and will write a further review once I’ve put some use into it. First impression is that it seems to be well made-the stitching is even and uniform. The elastic that holds the cover goes around the whole thing, so there’s no weird bunching up. I have a large deep king mattress (19” high) and this fits it easily-photos included for proof. It’s got that really low-nap terry cloth type surface, and vinyl under that, so it should be completely waterproof. It does kinds crinkle a bit as you move across the bed, tho. Will update later with more info, as my experience has been the vinyl will crack or peel off over time, so hopefully this thing lasts longer than a few months.

Bought this for a mattress that sees a lot of kids. I do not have to worry about night time accidents but I do have to worry about food, drinks and dirty feet. Shortly after I put it on a bottle of water was spilled on it. It did soak the top but did not soak through to the mattress. I really like the fact that it fits on like a fitted sheet so it is easy to take off, wash and put back on. I wash it in the washing machine on gentle and I do not put it in the dryer. It has been washed now about 5 times and it still is holding up great!

Bought this to cover our expensive tempur-pedic mattress topper since we have a pukey cat and didn't want to risk cat puke soaking into the topper. Fortunately, she had yet to puke on it yet so this has not been tested. However, I can attest to it fitting perfectly on my bed, including on the deep mattress+topper I have, and actually seems to hold the topper more tightly to the mattress which I like.I was a little unsure about the terry cloth surface, but under the sheet it is actually super comfortable and don't notice the texture difference at all. It also doesn't affect any of the tempur-pedic...ness of the topper, and it seems breathable and does not make any extra noise under the sheet. I honestly just forget it is even there, which is exactly what I want in a mattress cover.
