My dog is 5.5kg with a 43 girth and 28cm neck. I would not recommend this for a dog of this size or smaller.First, a minor flaw: There's no separate little D ring for dog tags; they have to be connected to one of the two D rings. My dog won't tolerate front falling tags and she'd not used to her tags bouncing around so far on her back.Second, the harness is very stiff. It might adjust, but to get it sitting right on the dog's body (given the stiffness), the neck would be too tight to slide on and off my dog's head. So the front sits like a little shield, jutting out to the sides of her shoulders, unless I wanted to take the time (and annoy her) to adjust the neck each and every time I put it on her and take it off.THIRD AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, although the neck and body was fitted correctly, when I used the front and back D ring at the same time, she easily stepped out of one of the leg holes. Very Dangerous!Not sure if this will work or not by just using the front D ring; however, I have a feeling she'll be stepping out of it if I use the back D ring alone. I'm saving her old harness just in case.Other than that, it's attractive and seems very well made. I have no doubt there are dogs somewhere who would do well with this harness. Probably dogs bigger than mine.For those with arthritis: One of the clasps is far stickier than the other. One is easy to open and the other takes more effort. I continue to look for other options.

Was no good for my little one. She is a Pekinese cross, and short legs. I got xsmall. Fitted round body but neck needed adjusting on and off. Very little space to adjust and was extremely hard to move the tiny amount that it did. Was not fun for either of us. The whole thing was a little stiff in truth and didn't look comfy if she had have worn it. When I used the front ring,the main reason I chose it that and the adjusting neck, her front leg stuck straight out sideways and the whole jacket part moved forward and her leg slipped through. Was not able to use. Might be better for a bigger dog. Could be more room for adjusting, might not be so stiff either, can't say, but the tiny one not so.Seemed good quality just very stiff all round and didn't work well with short little legs and tiny neck.

A very good harness but perhaps not suited to our chihuahua. To stop the chest piece hanging low and enabling his front legs to slip out, the front straps must be fully tightened. Unfortunately this means the gap isn't then big enough for his head to pass through as there are not front fastener clips. But I think my dog is just a weird shape anyway

Disapointed suppose to be escape proof unfortunately unless it is so tight my dog can’t breath she gets out of it. Defiantly won’t recommend very disappointing.

Very well built and feels like it’s stronger than any lead attached. Good stitching reflective although I bought the XS for my long hair chahuahua so not too much material. Nice big chest padding looks very comfy. Dog very happy and playful while wearing.

It’s very well made but my wife says our chihuahua keeps getting her front legs caught in the chest piece. This hasn’t happened for me though and may just be peculiar to our chi. She’s not the brightest. The chi, not my wife.It’s very sturdy and seems like it will last.

It looked good but we had to loosen the front really wide to get the dogs head in and then really tighten it again so it stayed on which was a real hassle. The clips didn't fit our lead well, too small and I think this harness needs two leads? Perhaps sell with suitable lead?It didn't stop our rescue dog much and when I held onto the handle she twisted round and trapped my hand.Maybe bigger dogs it works better.

Didn’t fit my dog this harness doesn’t come close to being extra small the picture is very misleading to say my dog is the spitting image of the dog in the picture he could easily wriggle out of the harness so not suitable for chihuahuas.
