I really didn't expect these to be as nice as they are. All pieces came unharmed, although there is one tree that the wire went through the bottom on the wood stand, but can be easily remedied. The only thing I would like to see different is the houses are all white, and it would be nice to see some color on them, but that could be something I can do as a project in the off season. The little lights that come with are nice and bright, but you do have to turn them off and on each time, but they light up the little houses nicely. These are a nice addition for any village someone is setting up, or even a good starting point. The pieces that are painted are nicely done.
