This was a good value. Easy to install. The previous owners of this house had a lightbulb sticking out of the wall going down to our finished basement and that's where I put Thing these. You can't beat the price.

I want to start by saying that this is the best packaged light I have ever received. It was sent in a box that had nice bubble wrap. Inside that was the actual light, that was securely taped at every single open seem. It was not coming out, unless it had already been opened, which it had not been. Inside of the box was a thick piece of foam, and the instructions. next was a layer of foam surrounding the base, and further covering the glass shells. The base was completely encased in foam, that was molded to fit the exact box dimensions, globe dimensions, and base dimensions as one big piece of foam. Both glass globes were of course fully encased in the foam as well. This whole unit was made to keep everything very safe, and very secure. I do not have mounted or functioning light pictures, because the light is so nice, we have decided to use it above a painting as an accent light. That will require a wall mount and wire to be installed. I did look at all of the electrical connections, and this is a well made light, that will be super simple to hook up, once there is a powered location. You will love this light, and I highly recommend trying it. The price is fantastic.
