REDSHIFT Kitchen Sink Low Flare Handlebar With Loop, 41cm Width

One word - Awesome!!! Worth the money and super high quality welds

This is the second Kitchen Sink bar that I have. The first one was the original with crazy flare on it that I found too much to handle. These low flare bars are much more to my taste and can be used on any bike. The low flare also looks better on the bike in my opinion. I have them setup on my gravel bike that also use as endurance and the drop angle, shape, that mild flare everything is just on the spot. Riding these bars in the drops feels very natural in your palms. On my bike, I use the extended "sink" for attaching a light. That sink, is just tall enough to perfectly cradle my GPS unit (Garmin Edge 530), I love it. I imagine that sink can be used for attaching a large bag or as additional position to grab the bars. The welds on it are reasonable and the bar looks like it will stand the test of time. And there in lies the only problem that I have with it. These bars may be over built as they weigh a hefty 510 gram which is more than most carbon forks on recent bikes. Not an apples to apples comparison but there are some framesets that weigh a hundred gram more than this. Clearly if you were looking to remain light in your build, this bar is not going to help. I hope they release a carbon version of these bars, that would be fantastic because I like everything about it. And then there is the price. I feel, its on a higher end of the spectrum but then there is nothing else like this in the market. Not going to reduce a star for that. Another 5/5, innovative, actually useful and functional product from Red Shift. Having owned a bunch of other products from them, I am excited to know what they come up with in future.

I like to do a variety of riding and that includes dirt trails and paved roads and these Redshift bars are great for my style of riding. When I'm in the mood to push it, the drops and aero bar keeps me tucked and aerodynamic but when I'm riding casually and want to sit up the rise and multi-position grips keep me comfortable on the saddle. These anodized alloy bars are narrower than flat bars but wider than most drop bars. I've included a chart that came with the bars showing all the sizing specs as the ad only shows a few measurements. Redshift makes excellent quality products as I'm using the "TopShelf" Redshift on another bike and love the design and feel. I'm swapping out my flat bar for this one and will soon be ordering compatible brake and shift levers. Bottom Line: Excellent Quality bars that offer multiple grip locations, are perfect for those who want bars that provide options when riding in varying terrains and riding surfaces and bars that can be used for casual riding and/or workouts. That's exactly how I'll be using them and they'll replace my flat bars.

Just excellent. The bar shape is perfect. Just the right amount and shape on the drops. The extra loop on the bar offers a ton of extra space for attachments (camera, computer, etc.). Fairly light weight as well.

I'm still working on my build, but this is exactly what I was looking for with my single speed track build. A front extension so I could lean forward a bit. Narrow bars due to narrow shoulders. Flared drops. Carbon would have been nice, but obviously not at this price point. I have a number of redshift products (several bars, a seatpost, and various length/angle shockstop stems), and they make a good solid product with plenty of spare parts available. I'm looking forward to getting this on the road.

this is a beautiful handlebar m it's designed really nicely and the machining is top tier. it's super comfortable and I love all the extra space on the bar. this is truly and awesome choice for a commuter or long distance biker.

Great for a touring bike -- lots of extra hand positions to take pressure of your wrist, get you down if needed -- so many extra positions. Bars are nice -- wish they drops were flared as well, but they come in a lot of widths. Good measurements/markings across the bar for alignment.

I already have a suspension stem and suspension seatpost, both are excellent, well made, and expensive. But R&D isn't free! This set of 41mm gravel handlebars with the loop is designed for long distance backpack gravel exploration and I can't wait to continue using it. I opted not to get the pouch but might end up getting one. Swapping from a carbon flared handlebar set, the weight savings was surprisingly little. But perhaps the compliance and flex of the handlebars that are carbon would be better on the hands than this aluminum, but honestly, with the ShockStop stem, I think I am at the stage of diminishing returns. I aim for comfort. Thick double wrapped grip tape. Suspension stem. Carbon fork. Previously Carbon drop bars. Wide gravel tires running TPU tubes at 44 psi. One concern was the need for longer tape, but I found that it was just enough for me. I use Shimano Tiagra brifters. Regardless, this is a fine setup. I did have to test a few places to put my Garmin and headlight. I do think I will end up getting the pouch! The flare is pretty minimal but works very well.
