Good thickness which doesn't flex or bend for most things. The size is almost like a normal metal fork. When I have used them for my steak, I still use the knife to try to cut through a piece before trying to pick up the whole thing... but, except for the largest of steaks, this fork may well still be able to pick them up, whole (as long as you were gentle about it). The points are sharp and will jab into most anything that a metal fork would jab into. When you need a fork on-the-go, or when you won't be able to wash-up afterward, these are a good choice. I could use them for almost everything, as they work well for everyday use.

Plastic fork? Plastic fork! It forks the things you need to fork with it. Does it break? Yeah! It's got some weak points. Be careful if you try to knife with this fork. You'll have fork tines (the little fork fingers) in your chicken breast dinner. Just use a real butter knife, plastic or otherwise. You're too strong, Susan. The fork can't handle you. Does it work as the Good Lord intended for forks to work? You bet it does. Fork stab food. Fork hold food. Food go mouth. All happy. Me clean the fork? No. Plastic no like oil, make cleaning hard. If me cleaning fork, why not just use metal fork? Portability?? Amazon ask me review fork portability. Me can take this fork places like me can ALL forks. Same fork size. Good for adult, work good for kid. Small kid? Maybe pick smaller fork. Tl;dr: good fork, works fine. Don't cut things with the side. Maybe get a cute small fork for your little ones.
