Strong magnet!
Strong magnet! Very well made. Stabila is my go to for all levels. I needed this small one to keep handy in my tool belt and it comes very handy with its size and level precision. The super strong magnet is a definite bonus. Clear lens to read the level bubble and extremely durable.

Great level
Great level absolutely worth the money. Use it daily as a cement mason for plumbing boards and setting line stakes. Magnets are nice and strong as others have noted. Edit: Only drawback is if you're shooting grades and have to turn the level over, hard to see the bubble. not an absolute deal breaker. would like to see it released in 12 inches as well.

Good balance of affordability and precision
The other reviews of this product are accurate and fair. This is a great level. It's nice enough that you'll have it for years and years. Granted, it is nicer than the $7 cheapie at home depot, but it's much more precise (the viscosity of the fluid is much lower so it's very touchy) and it's much sturdier. The base is ground flat and the magnets are strong. I highly recommend it as an all-purpose level for hanging pictures, tool setup, framing, etc.

Solid Level
This is a quility level. It is made up of metal with the level tube encased in a solid plastic cube. Compared to my other levels, this is deisgned with quility and craftsmanship in mind. as far as the accuracy, i would rely on it more than my other levels as the bubble seems to jump to one side if it's not percisly level, this helps when leveling. It has two small magnets underneeth that are recessed into the level and do not cause any mis-reading. These magnets are very powerfull. you have to pull hard to get it off metal.update:In the end, because one side is not flat, I can't check level for a second level or place a 2x4 over it. The magnet is so hard that I cannot pull it off the peice to see how far off level it is to choose a shim, and frankly, I use the other levels as they are lighter, don't make a loud BANG when they fall. I would have been ok, with not buying this item.

Best level for scaffold out here
Kind of expensive but can't beat the durability and strong magnets. Very necessary for scaffold erectors!

it is too nice to return for a refund
I bought this level to replace a much used, worn out, Check Point Professional level that I've used for 15 plus years. Reading reviews of the Check Point about the magnets falling out and seemingly cheap junk now that they are being made off shore, I felt compelled to look for something else. I use this level at work (42nd year in IBEW) from leveling panel boards etc to mainly bending conduit. It is always something to look forward to when a new tool is had and the Stabila was no exception. I quickly found that having only two magnets at the center of the level is not enough to secure it to conduit while bending short stubs with a hand bender and I was bending one inch steel tube. Later that morning, I was installing and leveling conduits high above the floor using a man lift and did not have a secure feeling the Stabila would not fall off the conduit if jarred, bumped etc. I used it for a couple hours, and is now retired for home use, it is too nice to return for a refund. So I'm back to my trusty Check Point for now, it is truly the best torpedo for my occupation. I might buy another Check Point and see what happens.
