PROS -a really easy screen to read (great backlight, huge text) -can work all controls even with gloves on -fits securely around my wetsuit (good band) -easy to understand interface for a recreational diver (I am new to needing a dive computer, so I’m grateful it was easy to learn how to use) -so useful to have a compass -robust construction -it’s quite a bit thinner than my instructor’s computer (he’s jealous) -glad the battery is replaceable (nothing worse than having a gadget become useless because it’s non-removable battery has deteriorated) -quite good value CONS -no built in bluetooth, so I have to buy the bluetooth accessory to move data. A bit frustrating, as I know a bluetooth chip is quite inexpensive NOTES -I am not too far along my dive journey, and I’m looking forward to advancing to more technical dives using other mixtures (that this computer will work with) -I have two, one for me, one for my partner (I have the red one, they have the yellow one, so there is no arguing about who has who’s computer, ha ha) MY STAR RATINGS: 1* substandard, mostly cons 2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros 3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros 4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons 5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

I’ve been using the Cressi Raffaello dive computer for a while now, and overall, I’m really happy with it. It has a big, clear screen that’s easy to read underwater, and the rectangular shape makes it sit nicely on my wrist without feeling bulky. The buttons are easy to use, even with gloves on, and the menus are simple to navigate. It feels solid and well-made, but it’s still light enough that I hardly notice it when diving. In terms of features, it gives me everything I need for recreational diving: depth, dive time, temperature, and nitrogen levels. The built-in compass is a great bonus, especially since most dive computers in this price range don’t have one. I also like that it uses a regular CR2450 battery that I can replace myself. I don’t have to worry about charging it before every dive, which makes life a lot easier when travelling. There are a few downsides. It doesn’t have built-in Bluetooth, so if I want to move my dive logs to my phone, I need to buy a separate connector. It also uses Cressi’s RGBM algorithm, which means I can’t adjust the conservatism level like on some of the newer, more advanced models. Neither of these is a dealbreaker for me, but they’re worth knowing about. All in all, the Raffaello has been a really solid dive computer for me. It’s reliable, easy to use, and affordable. I think it’s perfect for new divers or anyone who wants a straightforward computer without too many extras. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable that does exactly what you need it to do underwater.

I am a recreational diver, literally only diving when going abroad to warmer climes, or to our local dive club to keep toe in the water (so to speak). This is my second wrist mounted dive apparatus I have from Cressi, the first is a watch, works well as a time piece and as a dive aid and looks fantastic on my wrist. This dive computer is not a watch, and can only be used as a dive aid unless you are a complete attention seeker. First, to construction. Simply put - it is amazing, the strap is very chunky and long enough for pretty much any diving suit I have seen. The watch case is approximately 1 cm thick. The screen is large and with the back light is easy to read when in the water. There are 2 large buttons, one on either side of the watch that are both easy to press. The mineral glass is extremely tough which does not deform even under extreme pressure with my fingers. Of the numerous functions you can accommodate or be alarmed for air, nitro dives, descent limit, high speed ascent, oxygen toxicity alarm, compass, de-sat time, decompression stop and a no fly countdown amongst still more features. For testing I used it on a scuba night in a pool near me, and I should add - if it was even necessary - that this is nowhere near enough of a test of the capabilities and felt like a little bit of an insult to such a worthy dive aid. Having spoke to one of the instructors he is keen to test it when he is next out on a lake dive and I will be interested in what his reactions to it are. Value for money is a hard one for me, £326.71 seems like a lot of money but then I will be relying on this to keep me alive at some point. I was tempted to remove a star because it does not include the Cressi Bluetooth interface and you need to pay an extra £80 for it. However, this is a very capable and specialised piece of dive equipment - it is almost half the price of the dive watch I have from them and I know which one I will be taking. Learning how to use all the functions intuitively is my next job and though there is a quick guide, it's not something you can really look at underwater. Great piece of equipment, would have been nice to have Bluetooth/pc connection straight out of the box.

Very clear display and nice options. I do feel like one more button would make navigation through the menus smoother. Once you mess up you have to go through all the options again. Have not had a chance to dive in it yet, that will be March and I’ll let another review then.

Ich habe den Computer in grau (nicht weiß) und gelb bestellt, weil die Anzeigen so geschrieben waren als wäre das eine Nachfolgemodell. In aller kürze: Es gibt kein Nachfolgemodell und damit unterscheiden sich die beiden Computer nur optisch. Die Funktionen sind identisch. Die Optik ist aber schon sehr unterschiedlich: Während der graue wirkt als wäre er der Techdiving Szene entsprungen, so wirkt der gelbe deutlich entspannter. Der graue wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas hochwertiger. Ich mag eigentlich die gelb schwarze Cressi Farbgestaltung aber das gelbe Kunststoff wirkt tatsächlich etwas weniger Hochwertig als das graue - selbst wenn es wahrscheinlich genau das gleiche nur eben in anderem Farbton ist. + Super Ablesbares Display Der Tauchcomputer ist echt riesig und dementsprechend sehr gut ablesbar. Im Vergleich zu meinem Aqualung I330R ist das Display deutlich größer und nicht grafikfähig. Die Displaytechnik des Raffaello, die ein bisschen überholt wirken könnte, spielt aber unter Wasser dann doch voll ihre Vorteile aus: Der Computer ist Unterwasser deutlich besser ablesbar (ein entsprechendes ablesbarkeitsbild Unterwasser) wird nachgeliefert. Die Displays beider Farben lassen sich unter Wasser gleich gut ablesen. 0 Das Menu ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig Im Vergleich zu meinem Aqualung i330R ist das Menu aufgrund der fehlenden Grafikfähigkeit etwas weniger intuitiv. Der Aqualung punktet hier anfangs mit dem Grafikdisplay etwas; kostet aber auch etwas mehr. Hat man sich einmal ins Menü eingearbeitet (dank Anleitung geht das recht schnell) findet man sich aber ebenso zurecht. + Kompass ?! Ja wirklich! Ich hatte mir immer einen Tauchcomputer mit Kompass gewünscht. Die die ich bisher angesehen habe, kosteten aber deutlich mehr und auch mein Aqualung hat keinen Kompass. Dieser hier schon und der funktioniert auch ohne Grafik gut. Man hat die Wahl zwischen einer Dreibuchstaben Anzeige, die meiner Meinung nach völliger quatsch ist und eben Gradzahlen. Letztere stimmen mit meinem Analogen Kompass erstaunlich genau überein! 0 Extra langes Armband Das Armband ist wirklich sehr lang. Auch bei meinem 7mm Neoprenanzug mit Halbtrockenen 5mm Handschuhen (mit zusätzlicher Dichtlippe) ist noch mehr als genug Band übrig. Auch sehr kräftige Taucher sollten da wirklich kein Problem haben. Schön wäre hier ggf. eine zweite Schlaufe gewesen um das herumbaumelde Band etwas zu fixieren. Ohne Anzug - beim Schwimmbad-tauchen (Schnuppertauchen für Kids) habe ich den grauen dabei gehabt - war das Armband dann wirklich viel zu lang. Schön wäre hier die Option von Gummibändern oder der optionalen Integration in eine Konsole. - Bluetooth Verbindung kostet extra Das Gerät lässt sich an den Computer anschließen aber leider kostet das Bluetooth Modul extra und passt dann auch nur für diesen Cressi Computer. Das finde ich schon echt schade, vor allem weil das Teil alles andere als günstig ist. Ich habe es bestellt und werde hier noch berichten, wie es funktioniert, wenn es denn endlich geliefert wurde. - Einfachste Verpackung ohne Tasche o.ä. Während die Computer von manchen Mitbewerbern in einem Etui oder einer kleinen Tasche geliefert werden, kommt dieser hier in einem einfachen Pappkarton. Der ist so einfach gestaltet, dass beide Computer durch den Transport (wurden nicht gleichzeitig geliefert) darin rumgeflogen sind. Der gelbe sogar leichteste oberflächliche Kratzer dadurch bekommen hat. Hier empfehle ich dringend ein einfaches Etui als zukünftige Verpackung zu wählen. Zusammenfassung: Ich finde den Tauchcomputer spitze und auch wenn das Menu nicht so einfach ist wie bei manch anderem finde ich ihn in der Summe aufgrund des Kompasses und der Ceiling Funktion sehr empfehlenswert und gebe deshalb 5 Sterne.

El abanico de modos cubre desde aire y nitrox hasta Gauge y una modalidad específica para apnea, lo que amplía mucho su utilidad a distintos perfiles de usuario. Los aficionados agradecen la curva de aprendizaje contenida y los técnicos, la capacidad de mantener registros claros en sesiones más complejas. La navegación por menús es lógica y, tras un par de salidas, se automatizan las pulsaciones para registrar marcas, consultar intervalos en superficie o repasar la duración de la sesión sin perder el hilo de la inmersión. Donde realmente se diferencia es en la gestión de mezclas: poder configurar y alternar hasta tres nitrox distintos, incluso durante la inmersión, da margen a planes con paradas optimizadas y cambios de gas planificados. Este tipo de función, normalmente reservada a equipos con aspiraciones avanzadas, aquí está planteada de forma accesible y con validaciones claras en pantalla para minimizar errores. En la práctica, significa menos papeleo mental y más foco en ejecutar la inmersión tal como se ha diseñado. La autonomía declarada de hasta cuatro años, con batería reemplazable por el usuario, es un argumento de peso para quien bucea con frecuencia y prefiere olvidarse del cargador. Poder hacer el cambio uno mismo reduce tiempos muertos y costes de mantenimiento, y la estanqueidad se mantiene siempre que se respete el procedimiento y la junta quede impecable. Es un detalle que habla de eficiencia cotidiana tanto como de diseño: menos interrupciones y un equipo que está listo cuando surge la oportunidad de bajar al agua. Como pieza, el Raffaello se siente equilibrado entre diseño y funcionalidad.
