This is super cool, brilliant sound, sleek remote control and is quite lovely to look at - it was a Christmas present to myself because I wanted to replay old cds - it’s a joy!

Roxel radios are a relatively unknown brand. My introduction to the brand was at an holiday let which had a small Roxel dab provided, which was excellent . As a consequence of that experience I bought a Roxel Vogue for £40 for my conservatory. This is brilliant, so when I needed something more substantial for my lounge, the Amber was the natural choice. The Amber's sound quality is excellent, dab stations are clear and precise. An added benefit is that I connected my smart tv to the Amber, and it now acts as a soundbar. The retro look is fabulous, the build quality is substantial, and at Amazons £129.99 price, it's a bargain. I would strongly recommend this product and indeed the brand

This is a really fantastic product with great sound quality and the bass is terrific. We were thinking of getting a replacement for our 5 year old Bush portable CD player/Radio as the sound quality was rather tinny & having just moved house decided to treat ourselves to one as a combined house-warming/early Christmas present. Having read the reviews we decided to opt for this one. We particularly liked the fact that the remote control is finished in a bronze/gold colour which compliments the unit. It was fairly easy to set up although the aerial was rather fiddly to connect - it has a male connector which fits into a female socket and is then held in place by a nut unlike a TV aerial where the male connector is simply pushed into a female socket nor is the aerial like a screw-in car aerial. After putting the connector in the socket I found it rather fiddly to hold the connector in place whilst trying to centre the nut on the thread and tighten it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a decently priced CD/Radio with great sound quality!!.

Early indications very favourable. Pleased with sound quality, functions, & clarity of instructions. Whilst considered old fashioned, appearance is good & fits in well, rather than being a stark black for example. Radion tuning simple & more than adequate for needs Remote control covers all functions

Early days but so far it has been a breeze! Ordered Saturday, delivered yesterday and set up today, Monday. It looks better in the flesh than in the pictures. Read the instructions before attempting to use - it makes life so much easier. I was amazed just how easy it was to set-up. So far I have tested the FM radio, DAB and the CD. The sound quality is amazing for such a small piece of equipment. Excellent bass and treble reproduction - much better than my previous FM/DAB radio. Programming my favourite radio stations was easy. The remote control is well laid out and easy to use. I would have given it the full 5 stars but for a rather flimsy feeling CD tray and a personal pet hate. namely all of the connections are to the rear of the box. Some may think this is harsh but I think it is a design fault. As I say, a pet hate. Apart from the CD tray, the rest of this system appears to be well built. For the price, this is appears to be a good piece of kit. Of course, only time will tell if IT provides the years of service I expect.

I was quite surprised by the sound quality as others have said. I wasn't expecting too much but it turns out to be a pretty good player of various formats, perfectly fits my requirements. Looks good also Picks up FM and DAB well even though it's not ideally placed. NOTE: Conked out after a couple of weeks and had to send back. Will probably replace as it was quite good, although the price had gone up !

I must admit, my expectations weren't very high considering the low price of this product. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, looks beautiful and the sound is fantastic. Lovely bass and is ideal for my summer house

Das Radio hat einen guten Klang! Uhrzeit und Sender stellen sich von selbst ein. In Deutschland b sucht man unbedingt einen Zwischenstecker(Netzstecker) , da es sich um ein englisches Gerät handelt.
