Caldera Universal Hot & Cold Therapy Wrap (Large) with Therapy Gel

It's large enough to use over many areas that are hard to wrap, & can be put in the freezer to get really cold. I have not yet had occasion to try the heat effect, but know from other wraps I have of the same kind that it will be good. It was a a good find for someone facing a knee replacement.

I use this to wrap around my left knee due to ACL surgery. After every rehab session I'm icing for 10-20 mins and this works perfectly. It's sturdy, Velcro works great, and the icepack is plenty big enough. Be sure to use some sort of sleeve or extra cloth to place over the area you are icing in addition to the built-in barrier as it gets very, very cold.

Does the job. A little awkward to put on my shoulder due to the bumps and curves of a ball and socket joint... plus it slips a little even with the strong velcro tabs and one big strap. The one black strap is crucial for keeping it mostly in place. The gel pack stays pretty cold for the 15-20 min I use it, sometimes I throw it on my knee for another 15 min because it still is very cold. One time I used it in bed and was too lazy to bring it back to the freezer...it was still cold in the morning! Large size covers a lot of area. Would be good for knees and back although I don't normally use it there. Have not used as a hot pack. Overall a very good product, seems well made and durable for the cost.

this is the best cold wrap I have ever used! it is super cold and stays cold for up to an hour. The outer shell is a great insulator. I had back and neck pain and could easily leave it on my neck for 20 minutes then put it on my back for 20 and it was still cold when it went back in the freezer. My husband loves it too. His response was that it gets really cold really quick and stays that way.

Just received this therapy wrap last night. It has an obvious leak and the box it was shipped in has gel and stain all inside. I have asked for a replacement..I hope it works.

This has been pretty good. Really cold that lasts. I can put on back of knee for 10-15, then switch to front of knee after the ice pack has softened up and will bend/mold around my knee cap. Problem - the Velcro is poor quality. If I move at all it just pops off. If the Velcro was better I'd give this 5 star.

I had shoulder surgery and shopped around. Bought another cheaper version of an ice pack from my physical therapist and it was nothing like this one. It really works well and I use it for other injuries on my foot and back. I have even loaned it out to friends who are larger and smaller than me and they really liked it too.
