Had a HP Pavilion for many years now and finally the keyboard started to pack up. The laptop was still as fast as the day I bought it and runs windows 10 perfectly, so was a little reluctant to purchase a new machine. I have a work laptop which I use most frequently so was trying to avoid the expense.Did a lot of research on replacement keyboards and this one came out with constantly the best reviews around. Still was a little bit unsure but thought for the money got nothing to loose.Well, what a decision. this keyboard is as good as the original HP, if not better. If looks and feels like a brand new laptop. Was so easy to sit, - it took me about 10 mins. Whilst not rubbish with computers, I am by no means the most confident with opening them up etc. This could have been done by anybody. There are fantastic, clear videos on YouTube on how to do the swap the keyboard, I really took my time doing this and did it it under 10 mins. Installing the new keyboard you could feel that it was good quality. the ribbon connector is better than on the HP.I have been using this now for about 1 month, and never used my laptop as much - this has not changed my opinion in anyway.If you need a replacement keyboard for your laptop, stop looking, order this one, you will not go wrong.

Top quality product. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Only niggle is that there was no long plastic tab on the connector to help you push it in, like on the original. Other than that, which is a minor niggle, I would recommend this.

Lovely looking keyboard but the plug connection is thin and flimsy. It won’t stay put under the circuit board clip. Had to return.Have since bought another one from a laptop supplier and the keyboard was immaculate and more importantly the ribbon connector was much thicker, like the original, and therefore allowed the PCB snap connector to grasp the cable properly. Worked perfectly.
