I had spinal fusion from L4 to S1 about 6 months ago. I didn't heal well. I didn't grow bone at L5-S1 and my bottom screws are loose. I also developed si joint vacuum phenomenon leaving my back and pelvis unstable. i was scheduled for the next surgical opening and my neurosurgeon told me to wear my post op brace until surgery in roughly 3 weeks. It's not an emergency but it can't wait longer. The Velcro is getting funky so I took a chance on this brace. I like it better. It hits a little lower in the back than my post op brace and I like the support there. It makes everything feels more stable. It has helped tremendously with the pain. I do wish I could tighten the secondary straps a little tighter like my post op brace but it's allowed me to function so I can prepare my house and honestly, that's well worth the price. It's comfy and doesn't move. Since I had a hard time deciding what size to order, I'll share I'm 5'2" and weigh 200lbs. I wear a 16 in jeans and ordered an XL. It does follow the seller's sizing guide. I know sometimes it's hard to order if you don't know if it's true to size so I hope that'll help someone decide a size to order.

This product is amazing. I was skeptical because of the price because I don't like to spend money. This product helped relieve my lower back pain. The centerpiece is movable so that you can actually put the pressure where it's needed because not everybody has pain in the same spot. It's very durable. The fit was amazing. I wear an extra large in clothing. I purchased an extra large and it fits! Very simple and easy to adjust. After you get it on, you can tighten it with crisscross straps on the back to pull it tighter or looser in certain areas also. Would most definitely buy this again if needed. And highly recommend it

Belt is fine. Sizing is awful. DON'T MEASURE YOUR WAIST. MEASURE YOURSELF AT YOUR BELLY BUTTON. It says this down in the manufacturer detail, but is terribly misleading as "waist size". I tried to return it for a different size but Amazon requires a Return, then a Replace. Trouble was the price jumped $8.00 overnight. I understand Amazon Pricing, but this mistake just seems to be the website's fault, not mine.5/28/25 Update - I got the larger size and returned that too. Just wasn't comfortable for me. But a few days later I got an email from the company offering me a full refund. I'd already returned it to Amazon, but the customer Service earned them 2 more stars. (No, of course I didn't try to get the refund after Amazon already refunded me.)

This is the first brace I buy and I was very lucky it’s working well for me. I’m 5’3. 165 lbs. It gives me better balance. iI’s a bit bulky in the back when you use the back pad (I do) but that is why it provides support. The main benefit is that it prevents me from making reckless moves that would hurt my back more. I’ve been using it for more than a month. It’s sturdy. If you have extreme pain because of compressed nerves or herniated discs, let’s be honest, only surgery will help with that. Don’t buy a brace thinking it will cure a pinched nerve. Don’t be unrealistic.I wish they make it for petit girls too because my daughter liked it and she wants one for her but her back is shorter than mine. She’s about 4’8. When she tried it she said it feels good. Still I think it might bother a bit if you have a short trunk. Someone in the reviews complained about the smell but I was surprised. If you ever entered a fabric store and bought fabric by the yard, that is the smell. The smell of a fabric store is actually very pleasant to me. Anyways the odor faded by now. I’ll give it extra credit because it’s flattening my tummy and waistline.

Originally purchased a Medium (per their size chart) was too snug, couln't find a solution to exchange for next size up. They did give refund immediately; I re-purchased for a Large; and perfect. I use it more for sleeping, I must be twisting my back or hips in a way Im not aware of, but so far I use it every other day , no issues.

I have a bad back, sciatica and soforth. So I got this back support to help keep my back in the best support as possible. It works very well and is comfortable. I can wear it all day no problem.

The insert is uncomfortable

It is supportive in the right places. It really helps. The only problem is that the front pieces of Velcro that overlap tend to curl outward.
