Berleypro Hobie Lowrance Triple Shot Transducer Mount -BP2610

I put this on a 2016 Hobie Outback. It worked very well until the summer of 2021. During he summer of 2021 I started not getting sonar readings from my Lowrance. I decided to remove the cover and have a peek while the yak was still on the trailer. I ended up with a face full of sand and gravel. Most likely from beaching the yak. After cleaning things up the Lowrance worked fine. So just be aware that these need to be cleaned out from time to time.

I was fully aware that this was for a Hobie Yak. However, the triple shot is much longer than a split shot of traditional chirp/down scan only transducers, thus, using arms hanging over the side of your yak from Yak-Attack or Scotty leaves it prone to movement and requires constant adjustment, especially if your fishing through heavy weeks flipping and pitching or shallow water. I used and adapted this to the bottom of the hull for my Pelican Catch 100. Fortunately the bottom is dead flat and I was able to adapt this to sit not only on the bottom but to have the mount utilize one of the scupper holes for a clean install. the two side pontoons of my hull leaving this safe from hitting the bottom. I attached this product using Well/Hull nuts and a combination of 3M 5200 & 4200 Sealant. Works like a charm! If you own a Hobie, your in luck!; the Hull is already formed to receive this and all you need to do is screw it in with the factory installed hull/well nuts. Good Luck

This cover is on a 2018 Hobie Outback and has already taken a bit of a beating, so I feel it does keep my transducer better protected. It generally mounts on the kayak easily, however, I wish it was a little more form-fitting. Make sure to install it carefully and review the instructions and video online - they are helpful.

It fits very well with the triple shot and in the outback. It is not flush with the bottom. So it will drag or hit as you come back to shore. I only wish that the material it was made out of would be a little stronger. It may be fine but it's not the same plastic as the original Hobie cover.

At the time of purchased, the description stated that it fit Hobie "Mirage" kayaks. Having a 2019 "Mirage" Outback, I purchased the item. When it arrived you could clearly see this item is way to small. The seller offered to replace the item but I opted to cut some of the top off and attach it directly to Hobie retractable plate. Works like a charm. Now I have the retractable transducer plus the cover to protect it. best of both worlds..

Not a great fit, plastic is kind of cheap but will suit the purpose

Great product! I was confused and frustrated about setting up my new Lowrance Hook2 7 on my Hobie Outback until I find this. Works as advertised.

Tough to give a good review when the screws/nuts/washers they provide for the transducer clamp are so small most people won’t have spares on hand and they forget to include one of each in the packaging.
