Ready to use, dye release was quick and it worked well. I loved the color I achieved after initially dying with henna.

I wanted to try a natural, plant-based alternative to standard chemical hair dyes, and pure organic indigo powder seemed like a great option. The proposed benefits of getting rich, darker tones while conditioning your hair naturally without harsh synthetic additives is a huge plus. The powder is finely milled, mixes up easily with warm water into a workable paste, and goes on smoothly without making an impossible mess to clean up. So far the experience has been positive, though I have not noticed anything drastically different in terms of deep color change just yet. Natural botanical dyes usually require a bit of layering or multiple applications to really build up and reach their full tone, especially depending on your starting shade. It rinsed out clean without drying out my hair or causing any scalp irritation, so I will definitely continue to use and evaluate it over the next few sessions.

Pretty bad packaging. I dont know how reliable is thr product. It comes from India, there is no exporters/distributors information. I rely less on Indian products information like ingredients they have

I used this indigo powder on my dark brown hair with some grays, mainly focusing on root coverage. The instructions could definitely be clearer—they simply say to add water to make a paste but don’t provide any ratios. They also mention using ingredients like henna and curd, which aren’t included. Since I only wanted a simple application, I mixed it with water alone and it still worked. The powder has a very strong earthy smell that isn’t particularly pleasant, and the mixture can become dry, clumpy, and flaky during application. I found that keeping it damp with a spray bottle helped a lot. One package wasn’t enough to fully cover my long hair, but it worked well for my roots and gray hairs. I left it on for about 2 hours and waited the recommended oxidation period. After about 2 days, the color deepened nicely and left my hair with a beautiful black shine. Another plus is that it didn’t stain my skin and was surprisingly easy to clean off surfaces. Overall, despite the confusing instructions and strong smell, I’m happy with the final results and would use it again for root touch-ups.

It didn't dye my hair dark even though i made all the steps as they said, and also it gives my allergic reaction so it's not all natural as they said it should has chemicals
