Fits the collars on my Hayward Salt Cell
This is a vine product review. I ordered the Fennoral Salt Water Chlorinator Pool Tool Wrench to assist in removal of the salt cell from my pool's pipes when I close the pool in the Fall. To be honest, my pool is already closed and the salt cell was removed. But when i saw this wrench, I knew i needed to order it to fully fit around the collars on my salt cell without damaging them. I hand tighten the cell to ensure no leaks when starting up the pool in the Spring. If it leaks a little water, I have been using a large wrench to slightly tighten the collars. I was always afraid the large wrench I used before getting this tool would damage the plastic collars. The Fennoral wrench fits the collars perfectly. I have attached a photo of the Fennoral wrench on my salt cell collars in my basement winter storage box to show that the Fennoral wrench fits perfect on the salt cell collars. I cannot wait to startup the pool next spring and use this Fennoral wrench to slightly tighten the collars if needed to eliminate a water leak during Spring pool opening/startup.

New Salt System? Get This At The Same Time
When I moved into my home that had a pool, the pool was as basic as basic could be. Having had a previous pool with a salt system (that we loved for so many reasons), I changed the system to a salt chlorinated system. Why? Because the water was so much cleaner, the chlorine seemed to last longer, and I had better luck keeping algae and scum out of the water. This was 7 years ago. But by god I wish I had this tool when I initially put the new salt system. At the time, I had a reliable and knowledgeable pool "guy." He used channel lock pliers to tighten and loosen the salt cell. The plier's rough and tumble fitting over the years made it more and more difficult to loosen and remove the PVC Union Sittings. Hence I invested in this product because I was taking care of the pool more and more often without the help of my pool guy.In short, it works. I can open the salt cell. I can close the salt cell. Truly, if you install a salt system, you should get this product ( for $13!). It will save you a lot of headaches and you won't have to call your pool maintenance person every time you have a small glitch in your pool matrix.

Good fit
This fit perfectly and will be a lot easier to use than getting out the big wrench every time. It's built of solid metal and is a value I think.

Sturdy, but uncomfortable to use
This is made of sturdy metal and looks like it will survive moderate usage. Unfortunately, the edges are pretty rough and will tear through your hands with any sort of grip on them. I recommend a strap wrench over this as this product is a uni-tasker for sure.
