It has a buzzing sound which is normal as it is turning 220v down to 110v, it is compact and convenient.

Great value for international travel
Purchased for a trip to Thailand. The kit had the adapter I needed. I like the usb ports built in to allow for phone/smart watch charging while other AC devices are plugged into the receptacles.

Electrical products should not be made in China
I couldn't use it for a few days and it burned out. I wasted money and had to borrow a transformer from the hotel.

Functional, but bulky.
Worked well for us, and we brought it with us for our travels. There was a slight humming noise (from the transformer?) and it’s a little bulky from its shape/size and the stiff power cord. You’ll also need to bring the adapters for whichever country you’re going to, so you may have to pack quite a bit of stuff.Overall, definitely functional if a little bulky.

build quality seems decent - but safety risk
VERDICTAvoidWHYThe construction looks good and normally I'd recommend this product. However because of the safety risk, I'm rating this 2 stars.* The 200W "pass through" outlet is 100% useless because it does not convert anything and is limited to 200W. In fact, you could use one of the included plug adapters instead and exceed 200W. It's 100% dangerous because you could mix up the 200W and 2000W (step down to 120V) sides.* Out of the 4 plug adapters, only 2 of them are grounded (Type G - UK, Type D - India). The Type A - US and Type I - China/Argentina/Australia ones have the grounding pin absent so that makes them inferior plug adapters. But that's not all, the plug on the voltage converter/extension is the German Type E/F Schuko plug. The outlets and the plug themselves are grounded but NONE OF THE INCLUDED PLUG adapters are appropriate for grounding the Schuko plug. That means if you use this in Argentina, China, India, UK, etc, the voltage converter outlets are NOT grounded (earthed). 100% can be resolved with a proper plug adapter.
