I like having both a 7-pin and flat 4-pin connector in one clean/compact plug
I really like that this plug has both a 7-pin and a 4-pin connector each with spring loaded dust/weather covers. I have multiple trailers with different connectors and this provides the flexibility I need and want without having to have adaptors. If you only had a 7-pin, this connector is plug-and-play to give both a 7 and pin option…just connect to your existing harness and you are ready to go. The new bracket was pre-drilled and fit perfectly where my old bracket was; that was awesome and easy to install. The bracket is heavy gauge steel and very sturdy. The plug housing also seems heavy and well made. (One of the pictures I attached was just meant to show that the connector was installed and powered up using a tester with indicator lights to let me know all connections were ok.)You’ll want to take note that this is a replacement plug housing and it does not come with the wiring harness/bundle. If your vehicle did not already have the wiring harness that powers a 7-pin connector, you need to get that separate.
