About this item Fat balls are are firm favourite with garden birds but it's important to choose a high quality product to avoid paying for bulking materials, such as sand and waste products, which have no nutritional value. Our balls are of the finest quality. Suet is pure refined animal or vegetable fat and it's one of the most concentrated and easily metabolised energy foods for wild birds. It gives them instant vigour, and they love it. It's a superb all-year-round food, and can even cope with hard frost. Our premium fat balls are made to our own fully tested recipe. The only other ingredients are cereals and seeds. Attracts goldfinches, bullfinches, nuthatches, robins, tits, blackbirds, sparrows, woodpeckers, brambling and many other species. Fat balls should be fed in addition to other foods - they provide much needed energy for the birds and are an acceptable substitute for insect protein, which is lacking from a wild bird's diet in winter. Fledglings in particular need insect protein for healthy growth and development, so it is important to continue feeding fat balls all year round. Rip off

This item is twice the price of bigger alternatives. Do not be fooled by the image. Sadly some sellers think they can rip off Amazon customers - think again. Item being retuned immediately.

Very good - the best - but unaffordable

These are very good, leave no mess, the birds love them and they cost a fortune. So I’m conflicted, but I need so many to feed all year that I can’t afford them.

Rubbish delivery..Rubbish product

The tub they came in was smashed with the balls loose in box...I used them anyway and the birds hate them...haven't touch them. The last ones I used the birds couldn't get enough of them.Wast of money don't buy!!!
