Beautiful glossy hardback and delivery was second to none!

I have quite a few Marvel Omnibus editions and one or two have been a bit dodgy in the paper quality department = the worst being Master of Kung Fu 2 which has rally bad bleed through where you can clearly see the art on the back of the pages coming through at times. I am happy to report that the paper used here is thin but shows only minor bleed through - barely noticable really. So if this is an issue that has been bugging you like it has me then you'll be happy to hear that Marvel have come up with the goods with this book which is a good job because Tomb of Dracula is one of my favourites.

I grew up in the 70s with 'Tomb of Dracula' or as it was reprinted in black & white in the UK 'Dracula Lives'-this was as far removed from the British comics as was possible to get-this was adult entertainment which wasn't available in this country at the time-teens today have got comic shops selling US comics in every city-not then.This reprints the marvellous art & stories in glossy colour of the first 31 issues plus 5 other stories which tell the continuing story of Drac vs his descendent Frank Drake and vampire hunters Blade, Rachel Van Helsing, Quincy Harker etc from Drac's revival in Transylvania to battles across the gothic castles and mansions of England. The Gene Colan art is first class- this is a must for anyone who loves a great gothic read.

This review is for the 2018 reprint—I missed out getting this the first time around. Very pleased with the layout and binding of this version. Color levels look great and ink is sharp. If you are debating buying this, I would recommend this version or either the individual paperback volumes 1-2 (at a much more affordable price). Overall, I’m very satisfied with this Omnibus and absolutely love the Dracula stories here. Top notch Marvel.

Ich war nie so richtig ein Fan von Gene Colan, der ja von vielen fast kultisch verehrt wird. Sein Zeichenstil ist einfach nicht so recht nach meinem Geschmack. Dennoch legte ich mir als deutscher Marvel-Fan „der ersten Stunde“ (Stichwort BSV-Williams) diesen mit knapp € 70,- sehr günstigen Omnibus-Wälzer zu, da ich als Junge seinerzeit auch von Marvels Dracula-Version angetan war und grundsätzlich zur Nostalgie neige.Nicht bereut! Die Geschichten wirken auch heute noch „modern“; Colans Kunst passt, zugegeben, zum Fürsten der Finsternis, und so bleibt nur zu sagen: Gut gesaugt!

I love this book. I just started to read it. I have about half of these comics in my personal collection. It's one of the first comics I read. It's how my Mom got me to read anything. She would get the 3 or 4 for a dollar, cover half ripped off. Now I can enjoy this comic all together and in pristine condition for the first time. Can't wait for volume 2. Marvel at its finest. Nuff Said.

I collect Tomb of Dracula comics, but do not read them. I do not want to further wear the comic, and need print that old isn't a real feast for the eyes. The omnibus is great. Its huge, with nice glossy pages and brilliant color.
