Plug and play worked great
It work very well with my laptop and was able to plug in play and move files drop one laptop to another

Didn't work on cell phone
Bought this external drive to move pictures and videos from galaxy s22.... Does not just plug and play. Nothing happens when it's plugged into the s22. Tried on an s23, it lights up and shows USB storage added BUT there is no way to add the files to the external drive. I'm guessing this will only work through my laptop (via laptop transfer or view to cell phone) I needed the other way around without using a cloud service. I haven't tried this external drive on my laptop yet but I will. I'm still (several days) trying to get video/pictures to it through ANY phone with no luck. Still can't figure out why it won't even power up or blue light turn on when it's connected to an S22 phone

It works just not with the cord they sent. I used my charger cord.
Responding to Tara. I also have a Samsung S22. I agree that the cord they sent did not work but I used my charger to my phone and it worked perfectly. However, you still have to go to Setting >Accounts and backup>External storage transfer and make selection as to what you want transferred.
