Perfect for My Teen's Sensitive and Irritated Skin
The media could not be loaded. I recently ordered the Dermikelp Acute Soothing Cream for my 16-year-old daughter, who struggles with sensitive and easily irritated skin. After using it consistently for two weeks each night, she’s noticed a real improvement. The cream effectively calms her skin and reduces redness and discomfort. It’s very gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation, which is a huge relief for her sensitive skin. She feels much more comfortable and plans to continue using it to maintain these results.Overall, it’s been a great product for soothing and caring for sensitive skin!

Rich cream contains anti-inflammatory Sea Kelp
I have suffered from atopic eczema my whole life and have had to learn to cope with it. It’s important to keep the skin well moisturised but inevitably on occasion it will become irritated and despite my best effort not to, I will scratch it red and raw at which point it will need a steroid cream to help it heal. To help minimise the use of steroid cream it’s useful to always have a special kind of a cream on hand to stop the initial itch before it gets worse. In the past I have used itch relief creams. This is something new to try which contains seaweed extracts which research has shown to have anti-inflammatory effects.Comes in a hygienically foil sealed plastic squeezable tube. The cream is richly moisturising and I’m guessing it’s the seaweed that gives its distinctive brown colour. I’m surprised how strongly perfumed it is. It doesn’t contain artificial perfume but is fragranced with Ylang Ylang essential oil. Essential oils are natural but still have the potential to irritate, I would have preferred if they had left this out even if without the product has its own odd natural smell.I don’t have any active eczema to really test this out on at the moment. I’ve rubbed a little on the back of my neck where my collar has been rubbing and irritating all day. Is very rich, only need a little. The 25ml tube is very expensive but becomes more cost effective with the larger sized tubes. Something new to add your arsenal to fight inflammatory skin conditions.

A nice soothing cream that helped my red patches after shaving.
After shaving I sometimes get red patches on the skin that are dry and itchy. This cream does a good job of soothing the itching and moisturising the tight, dry skin. The cream is smooth, goes on well, and is absorbed quickly. There is no strong smell, and no greasiness or stickiness. I have had to be careful in the past with putting moisturising creams on these patches because they can cause them to flare up even more. I had no adverse reaction to this cream at all. It isn't cheap, but a small amount goes a long way.If you have sensitive skin that can be a bit choosy about what you put on it, this is worth a try.

Not particularly helped my dry skin
I'm left a little disappointed with this product. I suffer from very dry skin over winter and I've been using this to help. Unfortunately I've not found it as effective as other creams I typically use. I also find that I need to use quite a bit of it, meaning that a tube doesn't last all that long. On the plus side, the smell is nice and I appreciate the natural ingredients. It's non-greasy and soaks in well (although there is a slight grittiness to it)

Soothing cream
This Dermikelp Acute Soothing Cream comes in a small 25 g tube. I’m not keen on the fragrance; it’s only subtle, but to me it smells a bit fishy. It applies easily and absorbs quickly without leaving my skin feeling greasy or sticky. I’ve been applying it to the dry eczema patches on my upper arms. I’ve only been using it for a couple of days, but my skin feels less itchy, and the patches aren't as dry as they were, although they are still inflamed. I’ve also tried the Dermikelp lotion and much preferred it to the cream (it smells nicer too). Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Dermikelp® Acute Soothing Cream for Sensitive, Irritated Skin
I had high hopes for this due to the headline on the pack, but sadly it did not have any effect at all on my dermatitis, within minutes it felt like I had not applied anything. It is expensive for the small tube that you receive but would be worth it if it was effective. I will have to keep looking. My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. I do not recommend buying it,2 Stars Silicone Skimmer Spoon, Non-Stick Silicone Slotted Skimmer Spoon; Significant deficiencies, does not fulfil its expected functions,3 Stars; Average product. Complies with expectations,4 Stars; Very good and satisfying. I liked it and it's a quality product,5 Stars; Excellent, exceeds expectations.

Works for me
Dermikelp® Acute Soothing Cream for Sensitive, Irritated Skin - admittedly I do not suffer from psioriasis and I have occasional dermatitis, I do have sensitive and easily irritated skin. This (and the lotion) help a lot. Not only calming down but massively hydrating. So it's a yes for me. But saying that my dermatitis usually flared up during cold weather, it has not yet, so I will see how the cream is (or is ot) helping then.
