Picatinny Style Ruger 10/22 Base, Matte Black

Exactly what I needed no mount a scope to my Ruger 10/22.

Typical TacSol quality product. Sits low on receiver keeping optic close to bore. Very happy with purchase.

The first rail I received had a twist/warp to it. I reported the issue to Tactical Solutions and they immediately sent me a new one that was within spec. Not everything turns out perfectly in manufacturing, but it's nice when the company takes pride in their name and corrects any issues with respect and regard to their customers. This is a pretty good rail with one flaw. It says that you can view sights through the center channel. I found this to be only true if the sights are set fairly high, and even then barely visible. Its a decent mount, but if you want your 10/22 rifle sights to be set for 50 yards, then the rear sight is not visible through the center channel. That was the main reason I paid more for this rail than other much cheaper ones, so its a major flaw in my opinion.

This is such an improvement over a factory rail on a 10/22 which comes with a weaver style rail that blocks the iron sights. This tacsol rail is a picatinny style rail which is more optics and red dot friendly and you can still use the iron sights when you don’t have an optic installed. As with anything like this, install with blue lock tite. Enjoy.

The 10/22 came with a pic rail but I didn’t like so went with this one. It feels like it will handle some hard use and the fit is spot on. No slop or play and locked on like it was bedded on. Just a nice little upgrade that the scoop has not came loose or lost zero after 1800 rounds

Took a chance on this over a high end model. Save your money and get this. It’s been dropped and banged around, still holding true. Optics lock in nicely.
