No lancet pen included. Returned.
The packaging looked somewhat rumpled upon arrival. The AAA batteries that came with the unit were dead. I used my own to turn it on. The box did not contain a lancet pen at all, even though the manual described its use with pictures. I sterilized a pin and punctured my fingertip to produce a blood sample but when I put the test strip into the machine, I got an E-6 error message. I gave up and returned the unit.

Straightforward Meter for Tracking Basic Numbers
The setup is simple and the screen is easy to read. The strips load without fuss and the meter walks you through each step, so it’s not confusing to use. Results appear quickly and the included a few lancets and droppers make the process tidy. The build quality feels decent for a home unit. Good option for keeping an eye on your general lipid numbers, as long as you follow the instructions closely.

Great purchase! Highly recommended
The test takes a bit of blood but much more convenient than going to a lab. Used this before going to the lab. Accurate!

Don't waste your money
Results were not correct. Just kept giving a "Lo" result for most of the tests. The Triglycerides test did actually gave me results, but they were 40 units apart on subsequent tests. I am an analytical chemist, so I should be able to figure out how to use this instrument. Don't waste your money, it's junk.

Blood Lipid Analysis Meter
The Blood Lipid Meter was kind of complicated to use despite the instructions. I had read some negative comments or reviews about the meter, but decided to take a risk moneywise and give it a chance. I just got it last night and tested it this morning. First, The instructions were long... many steps so its a bit annoying to read so much. The initial meter setup was the confusing part... as I said, many steps, and meter comes with various components... meter, test strips, optical verify strips, code chip, batteries, capillary transfer tube, control solution, carrying case, lancing device, lancets The meter did NOT come with the Lancing Device NOR the lancets. Im Diabetic so I have another device to test my blood sugar and of course it came with the lancing device and lancets, so I used those. I did not need to read how to do the Testing because as I mentioned Im a Diabetic and have pinched myself for years, so I skipped that part. I know how to do that. Im not sure if my results were good because as I said,to me, it was confusing, not sure if I did the setup all the way. There is a part of the setup in which you have to indicate if you are taking the blood sample from the finger (FB), venous blood(VB) or plasma and serum (SP), and that shows in the Monitor. Im not sure which one I set up. I ended up discarding a test strip because blood sample wasnt enough. There is also a PC setup and Memory set up, I just skimned through it. Maybe I can ask my husband to read the manual since I get desperate and overwhelmed with so much instructions. I have ADD and not very patient when it comes to reading instructions. I guess Im gonna have to reset the meter and give it another try. As of now, im a bit frustrated with the setup and Mad that because for the money I spent, it did not come with the lancing device nor the lancets. So the reviews were not wrong. The meter came incomplete. Im giving it a 2 and a half, however I ll give the meter another chance. Keeping you all posted.

Home use cholesterol test kit!
I used this cholesterol test kit to monitor my lipid levels when my last doctor's test showed I had high levels. It's small and portable so easy to carry around. Runs on AAA batteries. It's not difficult to use but the results are not accurate at all. I tested it several times in a row and got different results.

Easy to use and convenient to have
I love to be able to check my mom‘s email. I would say that it’s pretty accurate. It’s very easy to use as well. It’s very convenient.
