Great price!
They are soft but still provides friction has to not slip. A bit smaller than I thought but i didn’t read the size. Easy to install and I had them for about a month and not once has it unstick.

So far so good!
Purchased these because our 2 year old daughter and Golden Retriever were continuously slipping down the steps. They were very easy to install but I will say that several of the mats required special attention to ensure they were sticking properly. They look great and I’m pleased with them for what we need, the material is a little cheap but that’s what you get with the price you pay! They’ve been installed for all of 24 hours but so far I would say they’re doing great and I am satisfied with this purchase.

Awesome!
I was skeptical buying these thinking they wouldn’t stay put. I’ve had them on our hardwood stairs for probably 2 months now and not one slip! (The carpet tiles or me haha) we have a big 100 lb dog and he was slipping a lot when he would run up or down the stairs (he’s only 2 so still gets the zoomies hehe) he hasn’t slipped once since I put these on! Another thing I thought after opening these and peeling off the backing to adhere them to the stairs- they didn’t seem sticky just a little tacky so I was like yeah these aren’t going to stay. Shockingly enough they do! And you can wash them and they still stay! It’s magic haha. I had to pick them up and replace them a couple times to make sure all the stairs looked even and they still don’t budge it’s great. I originally got the grey ones but ordered another set with more of a pattern for when I feel like dressing up the stairs a little or when the others are being washed being they’re so easy to take off and put back on. I would definitely recommend these! Wish I had them years ago when my son was little, would have helped a lot with him learning the stairs!

Bought for cellar stairs and made them safer.
Easy easy easy installation and looks great! They have stayed in place as I'm reviewing months after purchase. I feel more confident going up and down the basement stairs and my pup isn't hesitant to venture up or down. No more slippery situation. Safer!

Good stair treads if you're on a budget
Reasons To Buy+ Very helpful for adding traction to your stairs if you have seniors, pets or kids+ Easy to install, you'll be done in minutes+ They look fine for their price+ Package of 15 should be enough for most situations+ Self adhesive - they have a "light" adhesive that sticks well but still allows them to be peeled off easily. I did not have concerns about the treads sliding off once they were installed.+ Washable (make sure you follow the instructions though)+ Inexpensive - at the time of review, it is $54 for 15, which works out to $3.60 per tread.Reasons Not To Buy- While they look OK, these are inexpensive treads, and you can tell they're inexpensive. If you've got a nice place and can afford better, you should obviously buy nicer, more expensive treads.- If the finish on your stairs is fragile, there's a small chance that removing these treads may pull up some of the finish. Having said that, I felt like the adhesive was minimally applied it's sticky, but doesn't feel so sticky that it will rip up most finishes. If you are concerned, you'll need to buy treads that don't have an adhesive on the bottom, and they could cost a lot more.Good Value? We have tried Waterhog treads, which you can tell are much nicer than these ones. But Waterhogs easily cost 10x more than these ones. Plus, while they have rubber bottoms that are somewhat grippy, we still had to buy additional sticky corner pads to keep them in place. These runners are inexpensive and work very well. They are ideal for those on a budget.

Good affordable stair treads.
I recently redid my basement steps and wanted something that would make them less slippery with sock feet. Saw these and thought I'd give them a try. They were simple to install. Just put the plastic off the back and stick them in place. Did my 12 steps in roughly 30mins. They do work well and give pretty good grip when ascending and descending the stairs. The only thing I don't like is that they don't adhere well to the steps. They don't move around but the corners and ends raise up. They do seem to get better the more I walk on them ( I put pressure on the the lifted areas as I go up and down), but I still find some that lift a bit. Hopefully they get better and settle over time. As for taking them up and washing them, I'm not sure how well they would stick down afterwards. This is not a total game changer for me as I'll just tack them down. The steps are old and they originally had rubber treads that had been tacked down. I was just hoping I wouldn't have the do that with the new ones. Other than that I'm extremely satisfied with the way the look and work.

Easy to use
A few years ago we removed carpet from our stairs going to the second floor, there was fully finished hardwood underneath. So recently we decided to also remove the carpet going to the basement. Not only was there no hardwood there, it was ugly with dried glue, old paint, etc. We thought it would be much easier to do something with than it was. So we've lived with ugly stairs for a time, until we can get them replaced. I figured we didn't have much to lose by trying this product. We cleaned the first six stairs at the top to test these out before committing to doing the whole staircase. Then I peeled the backing off of one and put it in place. The adhesive backing isn't quite what I thought it would be. This isn't sticky enough to hold your stair treads on permanently (I guess that's how they're machine washable). In theory this seemed kind of dangerous if they were to slide off while you're walking down the stairs. But the backing seems to secure them well enough that they don't slide around. Is it perfect? No, it doesn't cover all the mess that is our stairs. But it looks a bit better and provides some padding underfoot. I also like that you're not committed to its final placement, you can move it around if needed. Overall I think this is a decent product and would order it again.
