Ordered these before and all was fine. This time, one burned out the first night. Too much trouble to have to return but disappointed.

While my old eyes don't notice it much, my kids on the other hand do see flickers.

For the 2nd time in one year, I had to replace my regular stove hood lights. This time I considered getting LED (every other bulb in my house is LED, even outdoor flood/security lights). I AM SO GLAD I DID. I am losing my vision and did not realize how "warm" or dim my old lights were, until I replaced the one blown bulb. Wow! Huge difference. Whether I wanted to or not, I replaced the other working light bulb with the new LED light. It is so much brighter. I do not even use my kitchen lights anymore.... just the over the stove hood lights. I do not use it, but can see where it may be preferred by some -- the light bulbs can be dimmed (my hood has a hugh/low switch).I ordered six, but knowing this is the only product that uses this bulb type, I may never use the other bulbs since they have such long life attributes.

I purchased these to gradually replace some first-get LED lights. I ended up just changing most of them out since the older ones were not as bright and I wanted to change all to the 5000K coloration. These are excellent and in outside but dry locations. I like the quality and having glass instead of the cheaper plastic lights. Remember, glass is more recyclable and fewer environmental impacts than plastic.

We've had six of these bulbs installed in track lights in our sewing room for over a year and they are excellent. The 4000 Kelvin color temperature of these bulbs is excellent for task lighting. We've converted all of our kitchen under-counter to the same kelvin rating and it works well there too!

In the end I chose to pay more for the Phillips Brand name- too many negative reviews on the bargain brands. Tested all ten upon receipt. No DOA's. Time will tell if they last. Note: These seen to me to be more spot light than flood light. Oh well...

I have bought these before and the color and brightness are perfect. Thought I would save some cash and buy the warehouse deals versions which are supposed to be returns or damaged boxes. I got 2 boxes that were fine and 2 boxes filled with some some cheap knock off lights in the philips boxes. If I were a betting man I would say someone swapped them out and kept the philips and returned the garbage ones that you see in the photo. Thankfully I can return them but still a pain to have to go through this. Amazon needs to do a better job inspecting returns before putting them back out for sale..

For some reason, these 4000K Philips PAR20's are not available anywhere in stores that I can find here in Toronto. It's all either 3000K or 5000K.These are the perfect tone, and I've bought dozens to replace every incandescent version in my home.

Arrived quickly and well packaged; 6 individual boxes inside one larger box. Easy to install and fit perfectly into the existing PAR20 halogen enclosures.I was worried if 4000K would be too cold/harsh for a kitchen, but it's just the right balance between 2700K (too warm) and 5000K (too harsh / clinical). Most importantly, my wife loves the increased brightness and clarity.

The lights look great. Nice upgrade from the incandescent bulbs. Trusting that they will last a long time and cut down on power costs

Packing box was intact, but base of bulb was crushed. Return centre says item can not be returned. Very unhappy!
