Vega Maca Chocolate Bar (24 Count, 1.4oz), Non GMO

Picked one up at Lucky's on a whim, and immediately looked for a bulk package on amazon. I love dark chocolate, and like maca flavor when it is not overpowering. I am also trying to go animal/dairy free. These bars hit all the marks! The chocolate is delicious, not too sweet, not to bitter, perfect amount of sweetness. No, they are not creamy texture, but its dark chocolate! I actually like the teeth feel of the slight grittiness. The maca flavor is a perfect amount. After a bar, I feel happy and ready to take on the day, its a lovely little treat I can feel 0 guilt with. I do suggest trying a bar from a store before you commit to sixty bucks worth of chocolate, but that should go without saying. I just read some reviews about not handling heat, and I guess I was lucky but my package was delivered fine, and I am in south Florida, so we know heat. Worth every penny, and when I get through this box, I will be treating myself to another. haha

if you are looking for a rich sweet bar of chocolate, this isn't your product; but f you enjoy having something 'somewhat' sweet (I do not like super sweet things) on occasion that can enjoy relatively guilt-free (because the ingredients are actually good for you) — then this is definitely for you.I was having trouble finding these in the store and so purchased through the subscribe and save option. It's a lot of bars, so I will probably need to reorder only every 4-6 mos.

If you're looking for a chocolate bar, this is probably not going to cut it. On the plus side, it's healthier than most chocolate bars you might purchase, so if you're looking for a sweet treat that is healthy, give it a try. It seems like I can taste the maca, a powdery, earthy flavor. I like the Vega protein powder and protein bars, because they are what they need to be. When I want chocolate, gimme chocolate!

A nice treat that easy to carry and have as an alternative supplement method

These taste great. Unfortunately, both times I ordered them the temperature gradients change the color of the chocolate. (Basically it melted along the way). So the box of brand new chocolate appears white and aged.

Melted and recrystallized so many times the wrappers were covered with fat. Chocolate was severely mishandled. Blobs of chocolate stuck in powder. Tasted OK, but in no way acceptable as a chocolate bar

I chose this rating simply because I feel this bar is top quality. I eat one before my long runs and I swear that without it I could not do as well as I do. Sustained energy to get me to the end of my workout and the taste is yum. The only draw back is the price I love Vega products.

Love this product! I’ve been ordering for the last few years. Although, the last 5 orders have been old and rotten along with replacement. Why are you selling rotten products?
