Very good and convenient, very fast connection via bluetooth

I'm using this to drive a SFF Windows PC that is connected to my TV and webcam for video calling.It is far more convenient than having a wired mouse and a keyboard is rarely needed so it does the job well.Out of the box the air mouse works and the volume and mute buttons work perfectly to control the PC volume.I was unable, though, to get the learning keys to work or even go into learning mode.The includes instructions are pretty poor in this respect repeatedly referring to the five customisable buttons but never actually identifying which are customisable!Build quality is nothing spectacular, but it does the job I needed it for.

The media could not be loaded. I had originally got this for my PC for when I watch TV shows, but thought I'd give this a go on my iPad Pro out of curiosity, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this works great and introduces iOS features that I did not know existed!It requires 2xAAA batteries that are not included, and comes with a USB adapter for machines that do not have Bluetooth which is great. I paired this with my iPad Pro quite easily by just holding "OK" and "BACK" for a few seconds until the remote's LED started flashing.Immediately upon pairing, I found that in combination with the gyroscope in the remote, I could use this as a sort of mouse pointed and discovered functionality that I did not know existed in iOS such as showing a dot on the screen to show where I'm aiming, icons expanding when hovered, and even locking the screen and displaying the control centre by just pointing at the top corners. Very handy!Navigating iOS was just a case of holding the middle "OK" button and sliding the remote left to right or right to left, and played around with Netflix and YouTube. A lot of the buttons do nothing, particularly the ones marked in purple (as they're more for TV/PC functionality) but the play/pause, volume up and down, mute all work great, allowing me to control all the relevant aspects of whatever I'm watching with one hand without having to lean forward and tap the screen.I have yet to fully test out the IR capabilities with my TV, but I'll update this review once I've had the chance, but my initial thoughts on this is that it's a brilliant little bluetooth/wireless remote.

This voice control remote is a good replacement or upgrade for a number of devices, and it works well with Bluetooth, and IR (Infra Red). Setting it up was fairly straightforward. You just plug in the USB receiver dongle, and it's ready to go as it has already been programmed (or paired) to work with the dongle it comes with.The voice control feature is surprisingly accurate and responsive for a control that is really cheap and affordable for everyone. The voice control definitely makes navigation a lot quicker than manually pressing buttons. The built-in 6-axis gyroscope is a brilliant feature. If you don't know what the gyroscope does, I will try and explain briefly. Basically it allows for "air mouse" functionality, which means that you can move the cursor on the screen by simply tilting or pointing the remote, rather than using directional buttons. This allows for smoother navigation (or motion) control, especially if you use it for Android TV boxes.What lacks this control down is the actual build quality. The plastic feels a bit cheap, and the buttons have a slightly weird mushy feel when pressed. The other thing that I didn't really like on this is the IR learning feature. Had that worked properly I would have still given this 5 stars as the cheap build quality is reflected in the price really, and you kind of know what to expect at just £11.00. The IR learning was just a bit hit and miss for me and a lot of trial and error to get things working with some devices.Taking everything into consideration I would still have to give this 4 stars, as it really does have some great functionality at a very low price point.

This remote control is a very versatile device.It uses both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi through a USB dongle.It is very easy to setup with no drivers required just plug and play.As well as being a programmable remote control where each button can be programmed to mimic the function of any button on another remote control; it can also be used as a mouse on your computer.Computer mouse mode is usable but takes getting used to. There is no scroll wheel so up/down arrows are used instead.There seems to be no DPI adjustment which would be nice to have but the default DPI is still usable.The build quality is adequate considering this is a budget device.In summary, this is a versatile multipurpose programmable remote control that can also be used as a computer mouse.The only downside which is really another nice to have is there are only 19 buttons.Whilst 19 buttons are adequate a full size version with more keys would be great.Great VFM so worth shortlisting.

Great bluetooth remote with lots of functionality

Not bad remote bud some (MAIN) functions does not work. Tested on LG C2 with the receiver and also over bluetooth and everything works ok apart the main button OK this button does not work regardless if connected via receiver or bluetooth really shame as I have to use the cursor to confirm my selection or step. The compatibility on TV is limited and I believe on desktop pc this is different store but I have not tested it yet. The price is ok because you can connect it pretty much anywhere. The build quality ok but very weird shape. Thank you.
